Women feel emotion more, and feel a connection to such a speaker; men, perhaps
not, though it manifests itself in older age more often. He probably
wasn't as emotional at age 29, single and working on PH.D in elite
university, I like my leaders human, including the Lord of Nazareth.
stromNever having met the apostle Paul, it's difficult to
answer your question, but it's not inconceivable.
Owl,RespectfullyCan you see Paul or the other apostles allowing
themself to be thus elevated? I can not.
His biography speaks of many humbling experiences in his life; surprised he
would share these, which shows his humility.

I feel a special kinship with Pres. Eyring. I respect and admire his deep love
for knowledge and wisdom. I felt honored when a report I submitted on the
projected growth of the Stake Institute program in Utah Valley ended up in his
hands with his approval. I count it a small tender mercy, too, that I got to
briefly know his daughter Liz at BYU. Even just a few brushes of overlap between
my life and his has richly blessed my life.
I read his biography, which was very well done, and unusually informative, as
well as a work of art; congratulations to the authors/compilers. his life is an
inspiration to me.
Happy Birthday, President!! May you enjoy the day with friends and family. And
don't be surprised if an Apple Pie doesn't show up. Ron and Linda Fox
