No drunk driver or drowsy driver can match the danger of a driver with a cell phone. I'm almost killed daily by them. If it were up to me cars would be equipped with a device that shuts off ALL cellphones in the car if the engine is running.

Every time I drive on I-15, I see people looking at their phones while they drive. Many, many times the number of drivers that are sleepy. Why, o why can't the UHP assign some troopers to drive unmarked cars and nab these people who are blatantly driving in an unsafe manner? Seems like this type of enforcement would easily pay for itself with the fines.

Drowsy, drunk, high, distracted. They all cause the same problems. Seems we just have more tolerance for drowsy because we are an overworked, exhausted society.

This is a totally false claim. Dead tired people do not lack self restraint and judgement the way those who have consumed alcohol do.
