Congratulations to the Sigma Chi National Fraternity and the individual Sigma Chi Chapters making this wonderful contribution. Unfortunately, the general population only hears about the isolated occasions where an individual or small group of individuals ruin the reputation of fraternities and sororities that have help develop generations of young people. We are talking about highly motivated students that become successful lifetime achievers and remember the importance of well balanced education. The University of Virginia came to realize that the their former Greek students were a significant source of ongoing financial support. I have no doubt that the University of Utah also clearly understood that fact even before this generous contribution from the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
