I'll be prepping for a tomorrows colonoscopy. Which come to think of it, I'd rather do than watch the dems debate.

This ought to be interesting. I bet it will be a contest to see who can come up with the most outrageous plan to give away money.

Not sure MSNBC tells you this or not, but Democrats benefit from the donor class too.

Google "Top Organization Contributors | OpenSecrets"...
    ---
7 of the top-10 donated primarily to Liberals.

Google "Top Individual Contributors: All Federal Contributions"...
    ---
6 of the top-10 donated to Liberals.

So much for the stereotypes and Assumptions I guess?

    ===

I want to see who has the best plan to pay for slavery, and how much that's going to cost the tax payers. Who gets the money. And who they plan to take it from.

I also want to see who has the best plan to fund the New Green Deal, if it's even feasible, and how much they think it will cost.

Google "How Much Will ‘Green New Deal’ Cost? - FactCheck.org"...

    They don't know. Nobody knows.

For sure give us free college. But do you have to get good grades? Do you even have to go to class? How long do you get to stay in college? Forever? And who pays your living expenses while you are a student? Do you still need a job?

And open the borders. We have enough jobs and welfare for everybody.

@Helmsmen your comment "Glorious Leader's tax cuts are a gratuitous giveaway to the GOP’s donor class "

First of all, I'm tired of the deficit increasing -- I want all parties (political, branches of government, etc.) to stop spending money like it's going out of style. Everyone does it and it disgusts me. Hopefully we agree on this.

About tax cuts -- I'm solidly in the middle class and I benefit from the tax cuts. And my friends/family in the middle class do also. My children who are poor young adults have benefited from a strong economy where they could find jobs. My retirement funds (401k, IRA) have increased due to the stable economy. I don't think the rich should get richer but I'm tired of the class warfare, vilification of the rich mentality from liberals. Entrepreneurs and others who take risks to start/run companies and employ thousands of people do need *some* tax deduction or they won't do it. I never got a job from a poor person -- did you? Don't vilify the job creators (or you won't have a job -- and government jobs don't count).

What to watch for? Which one can threaten to give away the most

    Atheisman

4 years of record unemployment and 401k levels isn’t close to enough unless one of your give away programs got cut.. The citizens who are part of the working middle class are thrilled with the current conditions and the job are Commander in Chief has done.

    Funny how that works

Welcome to the Freebie Olympics where democrats will be competing for your vote by offering up as much free stuff the govt can muster, at your expense of course.

Do americans understand their taxes are what pays for the supposed freebies, seeing how we are already over taxed and the govt spends more than it takes in where does the money come from to pay for these offer's ?

This is absolutely crazy nuts for americans to buy into this madness, or you can be like the great helmsman and vote democrat out of spite and hate for his glorious leader.

Those who chose the govt over independance get what they asked for, slum like housing and a monthly pittence in a welfare check which contrary to what the democrats tell you, is not going to buy your education, buy you a house on the hill with 3 cars in the garage.

Wake up America, we are America because we wake up every day and put in a good hard days work to earn an honest paycheck that pays for the house on the hill and the 3 cars in the garage and your own education.

Socialism does not work most recently look to Argentina as an example.

    RE: "Glorious Leader" comments...

You know you guys are the only ones who call him that, or think of him that way, right?

And that people said the same thing about your apparent cult-worship of Barack Obama when he was elected (it was so historic and so important). Only he could save us...

    Gag.

    @I have

"It will be a competition for the candidates to go more socialistic and give away "free stuff" (on the backs of the 50% of citizens who pay federal taxes). So sad where this country has gone in such a short time."

    You want to talk "giveaways?"

Glorious Leader's tax cuts are a gratuitous giveaway to the GOP’s donor class which, by widening deficits, threatens programs such as Social Security and Medicare. His pledge to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act ended in an aborted bill which would have deprived millions of Americans of decent healthcare.

Your real issue isn't giveaways. It is WHO is getting the giveaway: millions of ordinary Americans or the privileged few.

I'm waiting for one of them to promise Diet Coke in all the drinking fountains, and free ice cream for everybody (except the evil rich people) on Fridays...

The AP author of the article reveals his/her bias with the comment "The plane's cable televisions are usually turned to Fox News, which is not hosting the debates." They make it sound as if they can't/won't change the channel to hosting the debate. How silly... of course they will.

And I agree with the other commentators. It will be a competition for the candidates to go more socialistic and give away "free stuff" (on the backs of the 50% of citizens who pay federal taxes). So sad where this country has gone in such a short time.

    RE: "Breakouts, burns and zingers"..

I'd much rather watch a competition with dunks, fast breaks, and 3 pointers... But that's over. So I guess this is what we're left with.

I probably won't watch. I figure I'll get enough endless coverage of the highlights on the news and the late night comedy shows. I'm sure I'll get the gist of the battle and know who the winner is when it's over (not).

That's the problem with politics and debates. Lotsa words, little action, end even less action after the election and they are in office. They do almost nothing they talked about in the debates, and if they do... Congress just shuts them down (regardless of what party wins).

I know politics are important. But is just seem so circus-like and silly sometimes.

I hope something important happens at the debate. I'm sure I'll hear about it if something important happens. But usually... it doesn't.

I'd go with any of these candidates over Glorious Leader.

Heck, I'd go with the animal control officer in Rapid City, SD over Glorious Leader.

Only if Glorious Leader sees it on television, is it real and probably a big deal. If he doesn’t, it’s out of sight and out of mind.

Four seasons of the reality TV show will be enough for America.

No fan of the GOP, but I have to agree that the Democratic Party is a twenty-ring circus right now. I cringe when I hear about all the "free" stuff. Trump is vulnerable given that his presidency has been a debacle, but I'm not convinced the Democrats know how to win.

Watching? All of the arm flailing by the dems makes me dizzy. Can they speak without the flailing? Don't think so.

It will be hard to concentrate on the issues when the Democrats have nothing except impeach Trump and anyone who disagrees with them is a racist. There whole platform is accusing the Republicans of sins that they been doing for years. ---- These debates or ( debacles ) will be like comedy central.

It is going to be a bidding war on "free stuff".
I hear free education. I will add forgiveness of student loan. Add free healthcare......including gender transition surgery. And put reparations on top of that.
And remember, this is for the entire world, because we have open boarders.
