    “No complaining” as the criteria? Pro golfers ALWAYS whine, it’s one of the three things they are best at.

    “People love to see birdies.” When I make one, yes. At a US Open, no.

    A US Open is meant to test the golfers’ mettle, their resilience and their ability to think their way around a course. It is why Phil Mickleson has won other majors but not the US Open. He has a million dollar swing and a one dollar head.

    I like to see a US Open where the course is equal to or superior to the golfer, not the other way around.

    13 under at a US Open is a failure.
