With the plethora of inexpensive and easy birth control methods we have now days... Abortion should be almost non-existent in a civilized society with so many other options.

Not taking away anybody's reproductive rights. Just asking them to take responsibility for their reproductive rights and their reproductive system. It's fairly easy to do and doesn't take anybody's rights away.

Abortion should be a last resort. And done very early if it's needed for medical reasons, lot late term.

Liberals always twist the other side’s position. When they cannot logically argue against something, they twist to something against which they feel they can argue.

How sad it is that abortion has become the ruling “principle” of the dem party.

I don't agree with her. I would never vote for her. But that's OK. Isn't it?

I mean that's what she's doing... pandering to her base. That's what all politicians do. It's kinda expected by now... isn't it?

The trick is... not offending the middle enough to lose their support, while at the same time pandering to your base (which may be more radical left/right than the middle of America).

    That's the chance she's taking.

Lots of Americans are religious. Doesn't mean we disrespect or judge them as a group. We should consider each individually IMO. Same goes for radical-leftists. They aren't all Communists. That's just malarkey.

Gerson dismisses Gillibrand's presidential run as lacking seriousness, then takes her seriously. Sigh...

It is tragic that a woman's reproductive rights are pitted against a life she helped create.

There was a story just the other day of a puppy, thrown out of a moving car on the freeway, was rescued. And people are hauled into court for abusing/killing animals all the time.

Then, reverence for life makes a sharp left turn when it comes to abortion.

Give the matter back to the states...and/or the people. Roe was a tragic overreach.

Another word that might be used to define Gillibrand' s expressions might be "Wicked."

The Founding Father's primary objective was to protect the freedoms and agency of the individual, allowing the collective group to govern, to establish bounds where the rights of an individual might end in defense of another, but not to preclude the freedom of thought or promotion of an idea.

In the words of the umpire or referee: "This candidate is DQ'd!" "Yer OUT!" "Get off the field!" "Showers (cold) for you!"
