barfolomew, Your comments are based on speculation. I don't watch cable TV, so I for sure don't watch CNN or any of the NBC channels. And I'm not a liberal.

Regardless of what Pelosi said, Trump had a golden opportunity and who do you think would get the credit? Certainly not Pelosi. Tip O'Niel didn't get any credit for the early Reagan Tax cuts. He was dragged screaming and kicking, by Reagan.

Trump had a golden opportunity to get what he wants with Congress cooperating along with him. Not a bad thing.

Any conservative would want that to happen. We want the win. Trump is acting like a petulant child and needs to, frankly, grow up. I like most of what he's doing but he needs to calm down. I laughed when he characterized himself as a genius earlier today.

Our government works best when the President and Congress cooperate. Government by executive order or declaring emergencies isn't good government. Any good conservative would see that. After all we complained when Obama governed by executive order.

The more crazy noise the Dems make, the more I support Donald Trump as President and his re-election in 2020! He has withstood more abuse from them and the media than any President ever. And, he has accomplished more: lowest unemployment, lower tax rates, building the wall, fewer people on food stamps and unemployment, lowest unemployment among blacks ever, etc. And, he is the most transparent in the Mueller investigation: 1.5 million documents shared, 500 people cross examined against 18 Dem attorneys at a cost of $30 Million. With the report showing "no collusion" with the Russians, he has said, "Enough!" and rightly so.

Now with all the classified information going to come forth from the 2016 campaign on who did what, the IG report pending, and William Barr at the helm of the Justice department, we are finally going to find out the corruption on the other side of the aisle, and I don't think it is going to be pretty!

God bless our country, and God bless our great President!

Donald said: "I don't do cover ups,"

Well there's those porn stars he paid off right before the election.

Then there's that fake letter he wrote about that secret Russian meeting for Jr., after claiming he didn't.

Perhaps he meant he doesn't do cover-ups well.

I'm voting for Trump for no other reason than how Democrats have behaved; while he's been President and even before. The previous administration deceived a court in order to place a spy on Trump's campaign and Democrats couldn't have cared less. The previous administration's AG met in secret with the husband of the Democratic party's Presidential hopeful and five days later the Director of the FBI absolved her with a letter of exoneration he wrote before he even interviewed her; a letter that was manipulated by the AG. Funny how Democrats don't care about THAT very real obstruction of justice. Democrat's treatment of Brett Kavanaugh was criminal. They claim Trump's behavior is unbecoming of the Oval Office and yet somehow what they did to Kavanaugh is A-OK. (That guy can't turn Roe v. Wade fast enough). That whole Kavanaugh affair tells you all you need to know about what's going on in their hearts and their minds. This is infantile hypocrisy 101 and it's 100% why I'm voting for Trump in 2020.

The defenders of the Alamo centered upon fighting Mexicans, not policy.
Probably because the Mexicans were attacking them and trying to kill them. They weren't interested in "discussing policy".

So, after over two full years of false accusations and lies, assisted by a propaganda wing of the news media, Trump finally fights back, and the media blames him for focusing on fighting ?
Yes, when you are being attacked you focus on fighting!

Trump paid hush money to a porn star right before the election in order to cover up his affair with her and lied to the press about his knowledge of the scheme. He also lied about dictating a statement to his son Don Jr. about the infamous Trump Tower meeting, initially stating that he hadn't done it. Fact checkers consistently disprove his statements on everything from "China pays for the tariffs," to "Puerto Rico has received $91 billion in aid." The only thing consistent about this President is his pathological lying, currently over 10,000 examples since the inauguration, truly the ultimate example of covering up the truth. He has no credibility.

The U.S. Presidency is not a joyride for having a jolly old time every minute of every day. Intense scrutiny and accountability go with turf. Anyone who runs for President needs to understand that going in. Anyone who can’t hack it should not run.

Those who hold the job are taken through the fires and are not to seek refuge by wallowing in a self-seeking complex of martyrdom. In the end, the tortures that go with the job of being President always reveal the man and what he is made of. We’re now finding out what Donald Trump the man is made of and it's not a very pretty sight.

Or maybe you actually believe what the president has told you, which with his record I wouldn't bet on his honesty.

Trump has no substance. He certainly has no infrastructure plan. How many infrastructure weeks have we had now? And that is the most generous way to look at Trumps actions...

Either he had no real plan that even his own Republicans would support so he used Pelosi's remarks as an excuse to storm out of a meeting and hold an obviously planned for "impromptu" press conference where he rambled incoherently.

    OR

He has a plan that would add jobs, protect and serve the American people and he is so petty and vindictive that he refuses to move forward with it. He will hold our roads, bridges, schools - our safety - hostage in order to make his point. In order to hide the truth from the American people.

When Obama was under investigation over his birth certificate, he simply released it to the public and continued to do his job.

Where's the beef? His domestic policies are not consistent. His foreign policy is filled with inconsistencies. The only thing he has been good at is taking the advice of the extremists on the Right for judicial picks. And he is also rather good at overturning long standing democratic traditions.
