Visitors bring money but they also bring more congestion to the canyons.
Can't have it both ways.
At some point we will reach a critical mass of visitors where the tourism
industry starts to negatively affect the quality of life of those of us who live
here. Personally, when that happens, I'm going to start investing in a
"Colorado's just fine; go there" marketing campaign.
If the ski resorts are making so much $$ why is public being asked to pay to
transport people up the canyons?? Perhaps the resorts should buck the monies and
pay for busses rather than socialize the costs and privatize the proffits.
