I hope they catch this guy and put him away for a long lime. Glad mother and daughter are safe.

My doors get locked as soon as I climb in my car. Then the seat belt. Then I pull out of the driveway or parking spot. (I back in whether reasonable as this is safer than backing out, in most cases.)

Of course, on top of all that, I have long enjoyed the advantaged of being a larger-than-average male. So not the first target of cowardly crooks. But as age takes its toll on me as it does everyone, I'm rapidly moving into the realm of "elderly" where bad guys may think I am an easy target.

Fortunately, I've long carried a firearm for self defense. I hope I never have to use it. But if it is ever needed, I am going home safely to my family despite the really bad life decisions of society's lowest elements.

The first thing I always do when I get in my car, even before putting on seat belt or starting the car, is to lock the doors.

If the police have surveillance photos of this man why aren't they being shared in this desnews article?

How terrifying. Always lock your doors at all times. Always.
