Simply put: get Gobert to work all summers on his offensive game! He is terrible
on offense unless he gets a lob pass and can dunk it! Would do wonders for this
team and he would become the best center in the NBD instead of just DPOY every
year! After five years: why isn't he better offensively? awkward around the
basket, dribbling, or getting passes into the paint! No excuse when your making
$25 million per year! then we win, get just one more great shooter, and Donavan
stays in SLC winning championships! comments please. Why was Fav playing more
in couple of last playoff games? Because he was scoring and we needed it!
@To Be Honest. Really the Lakers need to change their color to red - for
danger. Talk about a train wreck. Even LeBron couldn't save them and now
Laker Legends are deserting that mess. Sounds like the Clips will own LA.
Maybe (hopefully) Mitchell will do for the Jazz what Dame has done for Portland.
Brad Rock. You need to know better. Mitchell will be a restricted
free agent in 2 years. He then will be matched for any offer he gets. The
soonest he can get out, realistically, is after year 7 of his career. Hopefully, he will have success here, and establish deep roots/ties to the
community. If he wants a statue, he will stick around.
Give Lindsey a break, all you Jazz naysayers and whiners. Don't forget,
Lindsey already drafted/traded for 2 superstars--Gobert and Mitchell. He's
done a great job! Like the idea of bringing Horny in to teach shooting and
Kareem to teach Rudy the sky hook. Or even someone to teach Rudy to hit an
occassional jumper from 10 feet. Donovan DEFINITELY needs some help, a
superstar caliber player who can create his own shot and take some scoring
pressure off Spider..... Because it's a small market team, the Millers
have been reluctant to open up the checkbook in the past to pay a
superstar-caliber free agent. I believe Lindsey. There are really good,
superstar-caliber players out there who would love to come to Utah to play with
Gobert and Mitchell. They're a team on the edge of being in the top 2 or 3
in the NBA west and challenging for a championship. Hopefully, Kemba Walker is
one of those players who wants to play for the Jazz. And hopefully, the Millers
will open up the checkbook to get him. Just like Horny joining Stockton and
Malone, that move would allow the Jazz to play again for an NBA championship.
...he will be fire in Lakers gold.
in retrospect, the jazz had a trade that may well have helped the team at the
deadline, but chose not to take it. memphis wanted exum included in a conley
trade and jazz mgmt said no. its hard to imagine that the jazz wouldn't
have been more competitive with conley.people bring up hayward, in
regards to mitchell, but isn't that really a false narrative. hayward
never seemed comfortable in utah, and mitchell clearly is. hayward also had
his college coach waving from boston.if malcom brogdon or jrue
holiday become available this summer, the jazz have to try and make a deal
happen. heck, i would even trade jazz and pelican names with them (utah has
more pelicans than jazz anywya).
I agree with those who have spoken about that the Jazz need to spend the money
to get the players that are needed. Could have, would have, should have
don't cut it. We are a good team, but not great. Till they swallow hard,
and pull out the check book and spend what it takes, this team will never get
the talent. Cut your losses on Exum, as he is injury prone and is not going to
pan out. Get after and sign Kemba Walker as he can score and create his on
shot, and get in someone to elevate the shooting ability of our players. Bring
in Kareem Adul Jabbar and have him teach Rudy how to shoot the sky hook, and
elevate him to a 20+ point scorer every night. All of these things are doable.
Seriously? He's gone as soon as he can go. It's Utah's fate.
The word "patience" is worn out.
There are at least 100 million reasons per year that Energy Solutions and Vivint
can help keep Donovan a Jazz man. Make it happen!
The jazz have a history and not wanting to put out money to keep players like
Mitchell, they move on to other teams. To win a championship, as bad as it is,
you have to buy it with getting great players in here. But what it seems that
those players dont want to come here. The Jazz are going to have to put out
the big bucks or we stay as we are.
Donovan will be a restricted free agent in 2 years
Bring back Hornacek for shooting tutorials all summer. Every single Jazz man
