Dear Jazz and Miller family: please do whatever you can to keep this young man in Utah. I don’t care if he doesn’t bring home a championship. He is good for Utah.

I understand that a lot of NBA stadiums are half empty during their home games, but not at Vivint Arena, where the seats are full, and the fans are loud. If you really love the game, then you must also love playing in front of good crowds. Maybe the Jazz will pull the trigger this coming off season and bring in some better talent to compliment Gobert and Mitchell? Oh yea, and maybe they will (finally) give up on the perpetually injured Exum and find an athletic replacement?

It probably won't help, but the jazz and their fans really want to do whatever they can to make this a place he wants to stay.

Sign the dude to a lifetime contract now! We need his type of Character in a Jazz uniform, win, lose or draw.

Kudos to his parents too for raising him well and to him for following their example and teaching. And I agree with DN Subscriber - hopefully we can keep him here in Utah for a long time!

Donovan Mitchell is a true inspiration to our community with his actions and deportment.

I really hope he can find a way to continue to play in Utah when his contract is up, like Stockton and Malone did, even if other teams want to throw a ton of money his way.

He is a great player and leader and role model in so many ways.
