I am with Butch Wax. It has been a very entertaining year. 50 wins is a good
Thank goodness only 2 more games and it is over for the jazz.
The Jazz are unbelievably soft! In case they didn't get the memo, this is
the playoffs, where the intensity ratchets up a notch or three, and where
physical play is the currency of the realm.I think part of the
problem is Snyder seems to be running the team like they're the Duncan /
Parker / Ginobili Spurs, which was also a soft team, but had the star power and
depth to compensate for it; the problem is, the Jazz don't currently have
that kind of star power. Snyder seems to be a finesse coach, but this series
calls for less finesse and more aggressiveness.Generally speaking,
they need to be playing more like the Bad Boy Pistons (or even the Billups / Rip
/ Prince / Wallace x2 Pistons). Specifically, they needed to attack the basket
more, draw contact, and get to the line. They did a little bit of that in the
4th quarter, but it was way too little, too late. They also needed to get more
physical on the other end and get it the Rockets' heads a little bit.Oh, well. If they keep playing like they have been, then in about five
days they get to pack it up and go fishing...
"3 takeaways from the Utah Jazz's 118-98 Game 2 loss to the Houston
Rockets"Let's be real, there's only one real
takeaway,Utah has no answer offensively or defensively for Harden.
If Jazz fans feel bad now wait until the Millers make you open your wallet up
for higher ticket prices and concession costs next season.
The Take Away? Sweep...
imp7 Come on brother, show a little Jazz spirit. Cheer up.Win or lose, it's been a fantastic year. Hopefully coming home we can put
together a couple of good games on our own floor. If not, here's to hoping
Rockets can dethrone the Warriors. Go Jazz

over. Too bad. Millers should have picked up Jimmer.------To do what, keep the bench warm?I don't know what's
worse, Jimmer's shooting (39% FG and 0% 3FG) or his defense.
You would think the players would have come out with some intensity to start the
game. I was worried after 4 minutes that Joe Ingles might fall asleep.
Mitchell wasn't far behind him. First two possessions were unforced
turnovers. I turned it off before the 1st quarter ended. If I took a beating
like they did in the first game, I would have come out in game 2 knocking
players around and showing some game. Not these Jazz. They played scared from
the start. Note to Quinn. Stop playing Korver.
What's so funny about sports is the fans. There's always going to be a
winner and loser. The jazz was never going to compete with this team. If you
thought they were, you just weren't paying attention to the rockets and
what they did the second half of the season. Jazz will regroup, and hopefully
make some noise in free agency. It should be obvious to everyone that the jazz
are still 3 players away from making a run
How disappointing! What was that?
this will only go 4 game, we will be swepted, 4-0. Our stars aren't showing
up, like theirs are. need to rethink the makeup of this team
Harden's riding the bench in the 4th and the Jazz still can't close
the gap. Pretty pathetic for Utah. So much for the "We need to tweak some
things and play Jazz basketball". They are playing Jazz basketball. Rockets
are playing Houston basketball. Even with 2nd string, they far outclass the
Party is over. Too bad. Millers should have picked up Jimmer.
Ouch!At this rate we can't even celebrate margin of defeat.
