housing is not the problem. Homeless are mislabeled: their real problem is drug abuse.

If my arithmetic is correct it is $140,000 per apartment. I presume this is for one person? I noticed an article where a home could be installed for $25-35,000. These were self contained. Seems like a lot more money being spent for a bed than one would expect. I agree that every homeless needs some help and care and a place to sleep. There may be a lot of people who do not have such nice quarters than these being constructed.
One last thought. Will this encourage homeless to trek to Salt Lake City?

Nobody deserves this honor more than Pamela Atkinson as she has worked tirelessly for for years to help the homeless. She is truly a saint.
I would like give a cheer to Lieutenant Governor Cox and Mayor Biskupskie for working together to get this project underway.
