    Russian collusion does not matter.

    Even if its not true!

The focus is to impeach Trump! He's standing in the way!

IMO. Many politicians want open borders to make the entire western hemisphere one country in which they are the rulers.

If what Barr has said publicly is an attempt to cover for the President, I'm guess Muller would have been crying foul from the roof tops.

The majority of Americans favor Capitalism not Socialism; especially the working middle class. There just isn't enough voting free loaders to support the Dems. Thank Goodness. With that said, I hope all is well with you and yours my Friend!
    ---

There is nothing in the current Democratic party plankage that is 'socialism'. Supporting social support systems such as Social Security, Medicare, aid to families with dependents, unemployment insurance payouts, especially when a company goes bankrupt, and a host of other supports, is no more 'socialism' that giving farmers billions for crops they can't sell because of idiotic trade wars.

There is no general call from Democrats to 'nationalize' any thing. Even if there was 'Medicare for All', the government would be paying private providers for the most part to provide any medical care, drugs, supplies, or related services.

The government has not 'nationalized' private industry to supply the military, or other government agencies with goods and services. They are almost all provided by private industry.

Who cares. Democrats need to forget about the Mueller Report and focus on nominating a candidate that can beat Trump. It can't be that hard. America is itching at the chance to give that guy the boot.

When the voice of your party are Pelosi, Schumer, Pocahontis, Crazy Bernie and AOC not only is it hard; it's impossible. You use the term "America" quite loosely. The majority of Americans favor Capitalism not Socialism; especially the working middle class. There just isn't enough voting free loaders to support the Dems. Thank Goodness. With that said, I hope all is well with you and yours my Friend!

Never Trumpers and Birthers have way more in common than they'd like to admit to themselves.
    ---

Not at all. In the case of the 'Birthers', the question should have ended with, "Obama's mother was a citizen (natural born even), therefore Obama is a 'natural born' citizen, no matter who his father was, or his immigration status'.

That was how Ted Cruz's natural born status was handled, and that was the end of the story.

In the case of Miller's investigation, the fact that a number people, who are closer than some distant party office in the midwest somewhere, felt a need to lie, or cover themselves, to their doom, suggests that there was more than just smoke in the campaign's dealing with any indication of 'Russian Interference'.

I"ll give an example. You find $100K in a suit case on the side of the highway. You don't turn it in to the authorities, but spend it in a Las Vegas super holiday.

In most states you are guilty of crime, despite not being the person or persons who may have been involved in a crime that led to the suit case full of money being left.

In the case of the Trump Campaign, they didn't report contacts with the Russians.

"Is this some kind of joke? After the media stoking the fire for this witch hunt for two years, they are the last people I want telling me what to think about the report."

Amen! It's amazing when, from time to time, the truth gets through to readers. No media outlet that published article after article about the ridiculous "Russian Collusion" narrative for the past several years, that does NOT publish a sackcloth and ashes "mea culpa," can ever be trusted again. Let's watch what the media does and draw our own conclusions.

Attorney General William Barr spun the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation before releasing the report to the public, proclaiming President Trump’s innocence over obstruction of justice.

I'll be anxious to see if the release provides Robert Mueller's summaries which he wrote specifically for a general public readership. If those are not included, suppression will be the more accurate term rather than redaction.

Barr continued as a Trump political operative today.

Ah, poor Trump! All those mean IC people were persecuting the president!
(Trump's own people were meeting with Russians, and later lied about it.)

The Trump administration provided everything the special counsel wanted!
(except under oath testimony from the president.)

Congress needs the complete unredacted report, with grand jury material.

"It is even hard for the media to get what the summary report said in plain English right so it will be interesting how they will spin the redacted version."

No need for spin from either side. Just let the American people read the whole report which some third-party, non-partisan like Robert Mueller can redact what is absolutely necessary. No place for William Barr in any of this. It's difficult being a Trump toady, particularly when he won't be able to keep the report out of the hands of Congress like Trump wants. Once the report gets out in full, we'll see how long Barr lasts because he couldn't maintain the cover-up.

Of course, Trump is back attacking the Mueller report. Barr's "summary letter" was just a partisan diversion. His core supporters will believe anything Trump says, so don't expect to convert any minds here. But there is much worse coming in the other investigations by federal prosecutors and congressional committees. The Mueller report will be seen as tame compared to what is expected with Trump now the focus of several criminal investigations. Maybe we'll eventually learn what Vladimir Putin has on him.

Catch up JaneB, Congress members are getting the entire unredacted report. If they leak certain parts redacted for lawful purposes they get to go to jail.

Washing Post contributor said to day Fox News has been correct for the past two years. That has got to hurt.

dems and their media, what a joke. Looking forward to see what lies they try to push next. I personally don't know any dems anymore, in the last two years one by one they have become disgusted with what's going on. dems keep doing what your doing, your losing voters big time. Trump 2020 by a landslide.

    Here's what I already know:

-Barr is running interference for Trump
-Barr holding the press con. before the report is released is sketchy
-Barr is acting like Trump's personal atty, not the AG
-Barr is doing exactly what Trump hoped he would do
-Congress needs the entire unredacted report. They should go to court for it
-It's up to Congress and the American people to decide what the consequences should be for Trump. He may not be indictable, but he should be held to account.
-Nothing in the report will change Trump supporters opinion. He has shot the GOP on 5th avenue, and they don't care.

It is even hard for the media to get what the summary report said in plain English right so it will be interesting how they will spin the redacted version. The hardest thing for the media and the Democrats is they don't seem to know you have to have a crime to indict -- Just because they don't like Trump succeeding is not a reason to impeach. However you can be well assured that they will spin their heads off trying to come up with something to try to make people they haven't been lying to us for 2 years.

@EmmanuelGoldstein1984: "With all the redactions, it will no longer be the "Mueller report," it will be the Barr Report."

The redactions--required by law to protect grand jury testifies and to safeguard classified material--will be far less than the never-Trumpers, near-coup-attempters, leaked throughout the investigation.

If there were credible evidence of collusion or obstruction, it would be leaked already.

I bet not one person in 1000 who has demanded the report be released, actually bothers to read more than 2 pages of it. Minds are made up and facts no longer matter to far too many people.

A few tax cheats and some guys who lied to the feds about legal but embarrassing conduct are being prosecuted. That is good.

It is also a great thing that our President is not a traitor, just as it was a great thing our President was actually born in Hawaii rather than Kenya. Truly sad when people would rather see the nation hurt than be relieved the President isn't a traitor or constitutionally ineligible.

Never Trumpers and Birthers have way more in common than they'd like to admit to themselves.
