Commenting on the note about who wore the all-white outfit better, Kanye or Freddie Whittingham:

Like most of the contestants on the "who wore it better" contests, neither of them wore it well--it was more of a contest about who was the least bad.

Obviously Williams didn’t look at what’s going on with the O Line. They couldn’t open a whole if the defense wasn’t even on the field.

    Welcome back home, Coach DD!

And it’s going to be all about the ZM show on 08/29!

    Go Utes!

Excellent hire! Every time I've seen Daniels on Gonzaga's bench, I've wished that he were here working with Coach K. He's truly an great coach and and a very good guy.

Glad Daniels is back. There's room, so I'd even like to see him spend time on the bench.

On another morning links note, it's funny that the DNews included a link to the "Is BYU-P Really A P5 Equivalent?" story. Interesting that a national observer exposes the dirty little secret, that beating the coogs is easier that beating a good G5 team, and may not cut it at CFP time.

"It's (the reason for selecting BYU) just because of what they have going on in the backfield." -- Ty'son Williams

I think what he meant was he'd chosen to play in WACistan because of what they DIDN'T have going in their backfield. And what they DIDN'T have was any real talent. Williams knows that the RB job is his to lose.

Daniels is an excellent coach and will be an enhancement to the Ute's BB program. I am elated that he is coming back.

I think this is a more important acquisition than most fans can realize. And while I can do without the smart-alecky dig at Coach Majerus by a former player who probably could have done a little bit better at utilizing his God-given talents if he would have listened more to that Majerus "Yelling" and less to the people telling him how good he was--the fact that Utah is bringing back a man of Coach Daniels talents and experience is serious business. Welcome back.

Heard this from a recruiter for BYU FB. This RB is good and would be a nice addition for the team, but he is a graduate transfer so he has to get into the BYU postgraduate school and this has not yet happened. Let us hope he qualifies.

Awesome to have Coach Daniels back in the program.
