I'm hoping he chooses to go back to BYU but if not, then come out east
young man! Virginia will welcome you with open arms! Good luck!
Come north son!! We will take care of ya!!! Go Aggies!!!
Jake, I'm not one who grovel and plead and beg, but......Please, please, please come back to BYU!!!!!!!We need a shooter,
you'll have the green light, you're already familiar with the coach
(who plays his players based on merit and not on legacy); and like Dylan Collie,
you'll be loved for coming back to Provo!!!Pleeeeeeaaaaaassssseeeee!!!!!
@xertNah...nothing more pointless than a lateral move from one
program that doesn't matter to another program that doesn't matter.
Besides, nobody's going to take advice from someone who condones the
appalling behavior of parents (and others) at little league games.Jake, get out of Happy Valley and find your fortune somewhere that matters!
I think the sources must be teasing a bit to create some dramatic tension.
Toolson would be foolish to choose any other situation than BYU where he would
be given Jimmer like adulation. He shoots (career) 3 % better than Jimmer from
the 3 and is a five-point leader over the Fredette Phenom in effective field
goal percentage. His coach is his former coach who has faith in him. This player
has been given the chance of a lifetime to come in--shoot many many many many
shots, be his teams (and maybe his conferences) scoring leader and increase his
resume for the pro ranks. Which of these other programs will even give him a
chance at a sniff of what he requires (free rein and shot volume) to make that
happen? Virginia? You gonna step in and tell Coach Bennett how many shots
you'll require? Duke? Coach K is going to concern himself with your pro
future? You get yourself over to the Y, Mr. Toolson. Pick out a number and get
your picture taken for next years program. Fame and fortune awaits you, but it
will come in the crucible of the WCC--where legends are forged in bandboxes and
the hydra--(Zags) weeds out all but the most worthy.
