You would think that after 18 weeks a Mother would know if she wanted her baby or not.

Unborn babies do feel pain. If you have ever watched an ultrasound video of a baby being aborted while it's limbs are being cut off, this becomes very obvious.

Rather than ban abortion at 18 weeks, ban it after the first sign of brain activity, which is at 5 or 6 weeks.

Any bill that exempts abortion of fetuses resulting from rape or incest loses the innocent life argument. I understand the reasoning behind such exemptions, but that fetus is no less innocent than once conceived between loving parents or in the backseat of a car. I also understand that in Utah these exemptions exist mostly to follow the policies of the LDS Church. I am opposed to abortion and would do my best to encourage any person to not abort. However, I also believe in choice.

How can you challenge a bill protecting unborn children?; they are people too. What kind of selfish, unfeeling heart does one have to have to kill a child who has no self defense? You did the adult thing to start the life, now do the compassionate adult thing to see it through. It is not the child's fault you were careless. If you don't want the child, give it up to adoption.
