These days it is rare to read uplifting articles such as this. The Conference
talks were spiritually uplifting and they came from the heart of each speaker.
We have all been very blessed to have witnessed incredible event.
The first two talks also mentioned the need for fellowship and for people
walking the same narrow road to refrain from attacking others on that road.
As I consider conference yesterday and anticipate conference today I am
overwhelmed with gratitude for truths reiterated across the pulpet. Regardless
of gender, race, age, or political affiliation these sons and daughters of God
do their very best to impart, to the rest of us children of God, truths,
concepts, and precepts we need in this currently turbulent and reeling world of
conflicting ideas put forth as truths. Anchors in a stormy sea!!
It's a always a beautiful thing, to see so many grown men cry. Not out of
sadness but out of conviction and equanimity. This is part of what makes the
LDS church authentic and sincere. So keep the tissue handy and Press ye Forward
to Sunday Session.
