Its too bad. Would have been nice to have an intermediate league for those who aren't on NFL rosters to continue to build their skills in hope of getting into or back into the league. Much as Jimmer as needed alternate leagues to keep his career moving - lots of other football players need a "minor" league to keep their dreams alive.

    Too bad.

As to the Ute fans who think they have something to brag about... really? Really? 32-20? Really?

"What is more pathetic, having to inject your BYU hatred at every chance you see possible or HAVING BYU OCCUPY YOU HEAD EVERY MINUTE OF EVERYDAY?"

Did I just read that correctly? Did a guy who goes by 'Max-was-right' really just say that?

I guess irony and self awareness just arent your forte.

    So not surprising.

Like I said before, if people want to watch bad football, they can go to BYU-P games for a lot less money. Glad to see this "league" gone.

Not entirely surprising but I thought they would at least make it through the first year. Attendance here in Salt Lake appeared to be a struggle and that's not a surprise. People will sit in absolutely horrendous conditions for teams they are invested in, whether it be the Utes, the Cougars, the Aggies, etc. Without that emotional attachment people are going to take more of a wait and see attitude and those first few home games weren't great weather-wise, if I remember correctly (I know the second game at least was played in snow.) By the time the weather improves the team has a losing record and therefore less interest from potential fans.

He only lost $70?? Seems pretty soon to pull out after only losing 70, most people in Vegas lose more than that in one night.
