He was amazing in high school. I hope he continues to improve his game and has a great career, except when playing BYU.

He is a good kid and a hard worker, very plucky. Should help get the utes back in the tourney.

    Pacer:

Agree with you. Payton Pritchard was our nemesis in games with Oregon. I, too, hope he will develop into that sort of player.

I think he's coming into a good situation. He's a solid--but not 'once in a generation' recruit who really seems to know how to play the game. He will not be expected to be a program savior--and if he eventually turns out to be? Well---thank you very much. He has a different skill set than Both Gach and a backcourt situation that will probably see him get some playing time early on in his career and that is so critical. Donnie Tillman, Gach, Timmy Allen and Riley Battin have all had to contribute early on and all are probably going to be dynamite as seniors. There is nothing that builds stronger upperclassmen more than taking lumps early on. Good luck to you Rylan and it's great to have you on board. I wish you four trips to the NCAA's, a couple of Final Fours and at least one NCAA Championship.

To thebig1: As for the states semi, It is a team sport look at Rylan's stats and that is why he is Mr. Basketball it's not based one game. He will be a U of U standard.

Considering Payton Pritchard just helped lead his team to the Sweet Sixteen, I think Ute fans would be thrilled if he could develop into that sort of player. Looking forward to seeing how he'll do next year up at the Huntsman Center.

Good player but didn't come thru during semi finals, which Mr Basketball really should do
