We all know what will happen here now the witch hunt is over by Mueller.... The democrat party will continue it. They have gloated that they caught Trump in a snare via Mueller. Now that nothing proved this ever happened they will pursue their hunt to continue making their case.

It is shameful so much taxpayer dollars have been spent, especially seeing that Mueller did not limit his scope to the issue of Russian collusion but went so many different directions on taxpayer's dimes.

No further indictments connected with the Mueller investigation doesn't mean there will be no more indictments . Mueller did his job now other jurisdictions will begin to move in and do theirs. Stay tuned- the fat lady hasn't sung yet.

I love all of the hot air coming from the Republicans here. Stop blaming Hillary for everything. You tried for 8 years to lock her up and you couldn’t. You never found anything wrong that you could convict her of. She is old news. Move on. Stop blaming everything that is going wrong now on her. It’s been 6 years since she held any office. Give it up and accept how corrupt Trump is.

Suppose the money can be used to buy more crab and lobster to be served at congressional dinners and parties.

Much to the Democratic hopes, apparently Mueller found nothing to report against Trump. Some of the people who had helped Trump were found guilty of various offenses, but none, so far against Trump. This has really upset the Dems who were sure that there was some hidden facts or facets that would entrap Trump! Mueller is regarded as being very honest even by the lying liberals, but apparently he has suddenly become a pariah! The House is threatening to subpoena him and his ruling! When people lie, it's wise to not do so too loudly. When you do, you are usually found out! Somehow they don't seem to realize that you can't make a lie be the truth! It'll always come out!

    You said:
"When are people going to see past the deceit?

"Russian collusion, man made climate change, Hillary being shot at in Bosnia, etc.

"The evidence is clear. Deceit is all around us!"

    My response:
Why do so many people think there is only deceit on one side? Both parties are full of deceit! Both parties are corrupt, but in different ways. Trump, himself, is the king of deceit! It's incredible to me that people are so entrenched in believing that their side is always right, that they fail to recognize when their side is making mistakes, too. Why does one party have to be right? Can't they both be wrong together (but in different ways)?

Re: ". . . the Supreme Court has essentially rewritten the statue to require intent to sustain a conviction [of Hillary Clinton].

    Laughably false.

The Roller, Gonzalez, and Smith cases all resulted in convictions for grossly negligent disclosure of classified information. The Supreme Court never overruled any of those cases. No Supreme Court or lesser court precedent exists that repeals clear Congressional intent, or that requires proof of specific intent for conviction of violating Section 793(f) of the Espionage Act, [18 U.S. Code, Section 793(f)], merely gross negligence.

Comey's fawning, exculpatory statement to the effect that no reasonable prosecutor would indict Hillary is a transparent lie.

I wouldn't be so sure this over just yet unless you have seen the report, the sealed indictments and have insight into what the southern district and the two other districts are investigating. But if Trump somehow escapes unscathed, you Republicans should be able to talk the Democrats through the problem since your guys spent four years and over 100 million trying to pin something on Hillary and you failed.

The Republicans witch hunt of Hillary may have succeeded enough to keep her from being elected. Maybe the Democrats will be able to bloody Trump enough to keep him from being re-elected. You may want to wait a bit before starting your celebration.

Not sure how anti-trumpers can not come to the conclusion when facts like:

Carter Page was the original target for the investigation that helped spawn the steel dossier and Carter Page was not charged with any crimes.

Steel Dossier, a unverified document paid for by trumps political oponent.

Investigation launched after Comey illegaly leaked govt fbi docs to insight reason for a probe.

Four fisa warrants obtained based on the fake steele dossier to spy and record the trump campaign.

Comey told trump personally that the dossier was unverified and salacious in nature, yet used it to start the investigation anyway.

No collusion is found so deputy doj director rosenstain changes the scope to go after trump associates criminal past and strike plea deals to get them to divulge anything criminally tied to trump regardless if it ties to russian collusion.

All indictments and convictions resulted from the probe had absolutely nothing to do with trump or russia.

The probe ends with no more indictments.

And conclude that this president, like him or hate him, was investigated without probable cause or evidence, a crime in of its self.

Someone needs to go to jail for this.

@RiDal: "The witch-hunters have finally had to admit that there is no Witch"

Mueller got guilty pleas from 34 people - including his Campaign Manager.

We don't know what the report says. There may not be any more indictments. I believe Mueller did his job. Others say it was a "hoax" so perhaps we can not trust the results. Who was it complaining about Mueller not being elected? Maybe since he wasn't we shouldn't put much weight behind the investigation. I'm willing to wait and see what else we find out.

Perhaps there was just a tremendous amount of smoke around Trump, but not enough evidence to convict him of a crime. (He seems to wiggle himself out of a lot of situations). We will see.

But even if that is the case, is that really something to gloat about? We should all breath a sigh of relief that although our President is a vulgar, serial adulterer, womanizing fraudster that surrounds himself with criminals and spends 1 in 5 days at his private golf resorts and a good chunk of every day watching TV and Tweeting out degrading nick-names between trips overseas to prostrate himself before Putin...they didn't get him for collusion!

Trumps haters are all making the same talkng point as the msm to save face, and that is, a sitting president cannot be indicted per law and just because there are no future indictments it does not exonerate trump?

For the last two years every trump hater posting comments made claims trump would be indicted. Either I'am confused or trump haters are.

It must be awfully difficult for trump haters to reconcile the fact that this investigation was a complete waste of time if knowing in advance regardless of the findings a sitting president cannot be indicted, yet that is not what was reported by the msm and all trump haters for the past two years.

Especially when former fbi lawyer Lisa Page gave congressional testimony admitting they had no evidence for collusion before they started the investigation.

Some say there are the campaign finance violations between cohen and trump, unless campaign funds were used it is not a campaign finance violation. Paying hush money is not a campaign finance violation, dem sen John Edwards had a similar case brought against him for hush money payments and he was exonerated.

Trump has done nothing wrong, plain and simple.

As far as the Mueller report: He did what he was hired to do. No lies, no fanfare, no name calling, just a thorough investigation of what happened that was within the scope of his assignment. We need more people like him.

The witch-hunters have finally had to admit that there is no Witch. ...or at least that they couldn't catch any in the act of flying their broomsticks.

Great men are determine by how they handle adversity.
Donald Trump will now take his rightful place along Abraham Lincoln as one of the two controversial and maligned Republican Presidents who so enraged the Democrats, by simply forcing them to follow the Constitution, that they tried to completely split the nation.
Just like the post war "reconstruction years" it may take decades to repair the rift now that the sane people of America have preserved the Union. But Trump has weathered all the storms and won yet again.

National polls indicate that some 85-90% of the American taxpaying public wants the Mueller report to be made available to the public. And as this article notes, "a bipartisan bill has been introduced in the Senate that would require the Mueller report to be made public." Thid are you also going to call for Chaffetz, Jordan and the boys to do the "honorable" thing and apologize to Hillary and the American people for four years of investigations and over 100 million tax dollars wasted and finding absolutely nothing? We haven't even seen this report but in two years over 30 indictments and or guilty pleas which is actually something. There are also other sealed indictments and investigations by other agencies that will probably turn into some more something.

Before you say dossier and uranium one, I am sure you realize that since your boys spent four years on nothing if they had anything even remotely like proof they would had Hillary before another committee.

This has taken so long, I can’t remember some of the details. There were others indicted during this investigation. Were any of them indicted for collusion with Russia?

If somebody was indicted for collusion with Russia, this wasn’t a waste of money.

If that didn’t happen, what was gained? If indictment was for perjury, you found out somebody lied under oath during the investigation. Fair enough. But that wasn’t the point of the investigation. If you didn’t prove that Trump rigged the election, this whole Mueller project has been a major waste of tax payer money.

Perhaps we should investigate why a warrant was ever issued since the dossier was known to be undubstantiated and paid for by members of Trumps opposition. Hardly unbiased reason for a warrant.

To all who cry conspiracy or political investigation. Then cry out about Hillary and Benghazi. Really? How much money, time and focus was spent on those events. Dems and republicans hold about as much credibility in their arguments against one another. Both are guilty of the exact same behaviour. Hillary was not exonerated nor was Trump, ( even without seeing the report enough information has been shared through indictments to know that Trump has surrounded himself with corrupt people). This report is likely to spell out unsavoury actions by the President, but just as Hillary not rise to an indictable level. Both are as corrupt as the other.
But I’ve always had a question- Why when the Republicans held the house, senate and Presidency did they not launch another investigation into the email scandal? The rhetoric about it is deafening, yet no further investigation?
Also those emails were not isolated. They were sent to or from individuals. You can destroy your server but you can’t eliminate them from those who sent or recieved.

I consider Rep. Stewart's remarks to be both hypocritical and the worth kind of political grandstanding.

Hypocritical because he and his fellow Republicans still hurl innuendos and accusations at Hillary Clinton over things their own investigations could find no evidence for, yet he expects a lack of new indictments to be seen as exoneration and if Trump isn't implacated he expects everyone to drop it and move on.

The worst kind of grandstanding because early reporting tells us nothing. It indicates no new conclusions, especially with prevailing wisdom being that a sitting president can't be indicted. Stewart is putting the cart before the horse and making a completely unsubstantiated claim.

First of still declaring no collusion when the contents of the report are still not public is at best intellectually dishonest. What you do know is there are no indictments for collusion, not that there is no collusion.

Secondly the claim.."Sorry to pop your balloon Democrats! As Gertrude Stein said, "There's no there there."
What a waste of time, money and energy." is absolutely ridiculous with the success of indictments and convictions that this investigation has generated. Even if some of the convictions were "process" crimes, the investigation has openly demonstrated that Trump is the leader of a hoard of liars, criminals, and cheats. Including criminals that did involve themselves in foreign conspiracies.

Trumps legal worries are far from over. The scab has been torn off of his business dealings, and he still has the campaign finance crimes to deal with.

Here's a prediction...that the obstruction of justice issue will rise to the level of legality that the Hillary Clinton emails rose to (for which the righties on this thread still scream about), where provable intent is the point. See if they scream now.

Trump’s campaign worked eagerly to benefit from a Russian intelligence operation that hacked his opponents’ emails and echoed them in phony social media campaigns, an effort the U.S. government later concluded was aimed in part at helping to deliver Trump the presidency. And investigators charged that a succession of top aides then lied to pretend they hadn’t.

“Isn’t it a remarkable coincidence — why are they all lying?” said Robert Ray, a former independent counsel who investigated President Bill Clinton. “Politics is one of those spaces where loyalty is prized above most everything,” Ray said. “When you look at these cases, it’s like everyone understood that — down to the lowest staffer.”

First, no indictment does not mean there will be no information that is not murky; there may well be information that will allow debate to continue, probably ad infinitum, ad nauseum. Second, had other political figures on the Democrats side been investigated with the same vigor as Trump, there would have been many sleazy figures indicted as well. I'm surprised several high FBI officials who were fired were not indicted. After all, if lying to the FBI is indictable, so should FBI officials who lie.

I hope that The President wins another term and shows these folks what a real American can do. So far he's done plenty for the country and he puts America first.

    What we know.
Numerous indictments of various members of Trumps inner circle. Some who have passed in and out of his life for years.
Russia meddled in the 2016 election. Trumps associates had very close contact to Russia numerous times.
Trumps associates lied numerous times about their contacts with Russians.
The report will not exonerate Trump. But it
seems the report will not find absolute
    evidence of campaign collusion to
influence the election. The report will
    hammer Trump associates for their
    questionable behaviour and ties.
Trump has been named a co -conspirator in a campaign finance fraud.
This was not a witch hunt. There was legal
Basis for every aspect of the process.
There is now a web of investigation because of information brought up through this investigation.

38 charges, 6 indictments with 5 of those with guilty plea's and 3 of them with convictions.

I read one trump hater after another claiming these charges and indictments as proof trump is guilty.

Yet they refused to listen to all of the fox news trump supporters posting comments how none of those charges and indictments have anything to do anything with russian trump collusion.

Muellers says no future indictments, investigation has concluded, no more indictments? Must be nothing to do about collusion.

So far no trump haters posting comments......

It’s clear most commenters here get there news from Fox. We don’t know what’s in the report. Claims that it vindicates the President are premature.

I hope the report is released. If it isn’t, we can expect more speculation about its contents for the next 21 months.

When are people going to see past the deceit?

Russian collusion, man made climate change, Hillary being shot at in Bosnia, etc.

The evidence is clear. Deceit is all around us!

The witch hunt is finally over with no president to burn at the stake. Well, surprise, surprise...NOT! How many millions of dollars were wasted on this farce?

It's been interesting to watch the news feed tonight on FOX and remember how the Dems have literally fawned over Mueller during the last 2 years of this investigation, and now with the news of no collusion, they are threatening to subpoena him to testify before Congress.

The Dems must know with attorney, Weismann, as the lead prosecutor, if there was any Russian collusion, he would have surely found it. In fact, there were 16 Democrat lawyers in this investigation assigned to find anything they could hang on President Donald Trump. A mounting $60,000,000 of tax payers money paid their salaries and A big NOTHING in collusion with the Russians and no indictments!

If these Dems and news outlets were smart, they would leave this witch hunt behind and cover the more important things pertaining to the safety and security of our country, i.e. border issues of crime, trafficking, and drugs; the economy (which is booming), healthcare, etc. If they keep beating the hate-Trump dialogue, I think it will bite them in the heels in 2020.

Trump-Pence 2020. God bless President Trump and our country!

“Sorry to pop your balloon Democrats!”

I’m sure the Democrats will just take a page from the Republican playbook and hold at least seven or eight more investigations and hearings.

I rarely agree with anything Stewart conveys, but I do agree that every word of the report should be released.

It seems like many people have forgotten that Mueller got Trump's campaign manager, his personal attorney, and a bunch of other people in his campaign. He also figured out how the Russians meddled in the election. He's turning his report to the proper authorities so they can continue the investigations.

It is becoming more and more apparent that the Russians meddled in the 2016 election (an election so close the elected candidate did not even win more votes than his opponent).

We also know that Trump surrounded himself with corrupt traitors. We know he paid hush money to an adult film actress. And we know Trump has been trying to discredit the process of investigating the facts of what happened.

Nixon suddenly looks like an ethical choir boy.

    Columbia, how thou hast fallen.

There will be some who won't accept the report no matter. Their hatred of Trump will be greater than any non - collusion conclusion. But they will just have to get over it

I wonder if Mueller feels that he has aided democracy in any way. This entire investigation was a political event pursued to denigrate the President. And in the end it appears to be another failed witch hunt.

I suppose this is it. We finally get to see what we have so far! Let’s see what the report says and see how it holds up. Trump may be guilty of collusion according to the report or Trump may have his name cleared once and for all (although whether this improves his chances of winning another presidential term is probably very debatable). Either way, I am glad we can finally put an end to all the madness that came from the whole investigation.
