Utah Blue Devil - I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say.
I think this is a great thing. I absolutely loathe the occupant of
the Oval Office, and feel like he can hardly do anything good, but you know what
they say about broken clocks...That, and I'm just glad he
signed it, as the article's headline mentions. I don't love that he
gets the mention in the headline, but I'm glad, generally, that this good
Reasonable Mormon - why... why did who signed it make any difference at all.
Because of the signers own military service? Because he wasn't a democrat?
Or he isn't black? Why did who signed it matter? Surely it isn't
the service that person themselves also made....It is a great honor.
Well deserved. I just hate that it is being seeing and done with the lens of
partisanship. That being honored by someone else would be less. I don't
get why we have become so divided. The person of importance here is
the person, and the family of the person, who actually made the sacrifice. I
hate that it is being cheapened by dragging partisanship into this too.
What a good decision to honor a man dedicated to his family, his community, and
country. Well done.
what an appropriate and honorable idea. I'm glad it was proposed, and
passed, and I'm pleased that the person who signed it, signed it.
