Never seen so many hats tossed into the ring so early. I want to run! Me too! I want to run! It's silly season. That's to be expected so early in the campaign.

If we continue our profligate ways, someday the world will abandon the dollar as the global currency (something the Chinese are pushing hard for sooner rather than later). When that happens, the party is over – interest rates will soar, the economy will tank, and the decline of America will go from a slow gait to a steady trot.

That said, why is it Republicans only “find religion” on this topic when they’re talking about (or obstructing) Democrats?

I challenge anyone to name a Republican president in the last 70 years who used his veto power to control spending or stop the mindless and mostly unnecessary deficit exploding tax cuts.

I hope the Democrats don't blow it with "Free medical for all". Don't worry, someone else will pay for it... its a different version of build a wall and Mexico will pay for it...

We need to solve the problems of immigration and healthcare, but so far the loudest echo chambers of Trump and his Democratic challengers aren't doing anything that has a hope of success.

And the presumptive Republican candidate? He's channeling a bit of 'house of cards', and Sopranos, of course. And even a little bit of 'The Americans'.
