School lessons targeted by climate change doubters

    Any school lessons need to teach children that the climate has been in a constant state of flux as long as the Earth has been around.

    And that in the 1960's the talk was that we were heading towards another ice age.

    Thankfully auto manufacturers to our rescue by designing SUVs which put enough CO2 in the air that we are no longer heading for that ice age.

    Children must be indoctrinated that humans and cows are destroying the planet.

    Hmm? Would climate stabilize if humans went extinct?

    Who would put out natural caused forest fires?

    Yet we keep reading comments here by conservative DN readers who try to claim that our public schools are "liberal indoctrination centers."

    Mercy. In many states it's exactly the opposite.
