patrioticAMERICAN - - "Don't make me laugh! That is exactly what the right has been doing for the last two years, only you're so deep in the forest that all you can see is trees."

and You liberals did it for 8 yrs with Obama, Or did you forget the illegal (according to liberals about Trump) EO's that Obama did to circumvent Congress? OR the IRS, Secret Service, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Hillary peddling influence to put money in the Clinton foundation, etc?

Neither side can claim Moral Superiority with all the double dealing, underhanded things that have gone on.

Why is it okay for the dems to do their "witch hunts" on Trump, but it was not alright for the GOP to do it against Obama?

I love how you liberals now are investigating anything Trump has done in the past, because their claim that Trump colluded with the Russians is proving to be a false accusation.

Barfolomew.."So, you flat out deny that the economy is booming? That the VA is getting better? That Kim Jong-un is talking to us for the first time? "

If the economy is booming it's been "booming for the past 7 years 5 of which were Obama's.

    GDP growth;
    2010...2.6
    2011..1.6
    2012..2.2
    2013...1.8
    2014...2.5
    2015...2.9
    2016..1.6
    2017...2.2
    2018..2.9

What is it you see spectacular here, that wasn't present before? African American unemployment 2010, 16.9..2016...7.4. Trump has taken it from 7.4 to 7.1, is that spectacular?

Yea Kim is talking to us now because Trump is the first President ever to just say hey let's get together who cares what you've been doing. Spectacular? Of sort of spectacularly naÏve.

To "patrioticAMERICAN" and tell us, are the Democrats any different? In many ways I could actually say that the GOP is less corrupt based on the number of convictions that were pushed. The Democrats never pushed any convictions even when there was obvious corruption.

Did the Democrats just let the corruption under Obama just pass by without caring?

Tell us how Trump using the established laws to carry out his agenda is any worse than Obama legislating via Executive order? (On top of that some of Obama's executive orders went against his Oath of Office.)

@barfolomew: "You see, we on the right - most of us, anyway - don't go by the adage, "the end justifies the means." We don't turn a blind eye to criminal activity just because we agree with someone's politics."

Don't make me laugh! That is exactly what the right has been doing for the last two years, only you're so deep in the forest that all you can see is trees. Everything abt Trump is "the ends justifies the means". And the worst offenders have been the GOP leaders in Congress, who have turned a blind eye to the corruption of Trump & his cabinet, & failed to keep their oath to protect & defend the Constitution, or to fulfill their duty as an equal branch of govt to keep the pres. in check.

Even the sycophants in his admin. are now declaring he has an "absolute" right to declare an emergency (however fake it may be) & he has an "absolute" right to give security clearance to anyone he wants to (even though Trump said a few months ago that he had nothing to do w/Kushner getting clearance).

Any one who starts invoking "absolute right" risks sounding like a wannabe "Emperor" (Napolean comes to mind).

You get a few conservative judges & we get the nightmare that is Trump!

David-- "...actions of the executive branch of our federal government because so many of its actions and behaviors don't pass the "smell test," seem "fishy," yet are ignored."

You know what is funny about this comment? The exact same thing was said about Obama by the conservatives...

I heard a comment today that applies... "With Trump, people are firmly entrenched in their views, those that dislike him will pretty much dislike, those that love will always love him. Neither side will change their view no matter how much documentation you bring them."

Here is what makes nutzo.. When the GOP was in control, they investigate the many incidents in the Obama Admin (Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, Secret Service) the the Liberals howled "Witch hunt"... Now that they are in control, they are massing up investigations against Trump, not for Collusion, but things he might have done as private citizen"

Sorry, I can not stand hypocrisy on either side of the isle.

    @ one old man

"What will you tell us if the report DOES [show Trump broke laws]?"

Well then, he needs to be held accountable. Prosecuted if need be.

You see, we on the right - most of us, anyway - don't go by the adage, "the end justifies the means." We don't turn a blind eye to criminal activity just because we agree with someone's politics (i.e., Hillary). We'll see what Mueller comes up with. And if the laws broken are actually the act of a criminal, then yes, he needs to go.

Remember, though - with the myriad of federal, state and local laws and all the bureaucratic regulations and statutes we have in this country, it has been said that there is not one man, woman or child in this country that isn't breaking one mandate or another right now, this very moment.

I will not advocate for the President to be removed because he was driving without a seatbelt or made a profit selling a lawnmower without paying the taxes.

You, however, don't even need that excuse. You just want him gone, now.

    @ Lia

"Surely you can't believe any of that---WE certainly do not. We meaning reasonable people-"

So, you flat out deny that the economy is booming? That the VA is getting better? That Kim Jong-un is talking to us for the first time? I know that you won't hear any of this on CNN or MSNBC, but keep looking, it's out there.

And the left, (those like yourself) - even the leading prez candidates, have endorsed and embraced AOC's New Green Deal. Ya know, the one where, in 10 years, we're going to eliminate all use of fossil fuels, reconfigure our entire infrastructure, get rid of air travel, retrofit or rebuild EVERY building in America, eliminate cows, give a free paycheck to anyone unable or unwilling to work - all in the name of AGW which is nothing more than a theory. On top of that, the left advocates for 'guns for criminals only', open borders, free health care for all, infanticide, entitlements for illegals, eliminating ICE, sanctuary cities/states, free college for everyone, multiple genders (one site lists 112), 70% tax rate.

These are no longer considered "fringe" ideas by the left. These are mainstream platform planks.

Is that what you're calling, "reasonable people?"

To "Lia" but so far the indications are that Trump has not broken any laws. Even the indicators about Mueller's report are showing that Trump didn't break any laws.

So, tell us, how can Mueller's report do anything to Trump if it shows that he did not break any laws?
    ======

What will you tell us if the report DOES ?

"...actions of the executive branch of our federal government because so many of its actions and behaviors don't pass the "smell test," seem "fishy," yet are ignored."

I don't know, David. Which actions and behaviors are you referring to?

    Is it our booming economy?

The tax cuts that let nearly every American keep more of their earnings and the elimination of useless regulations that have fueled this booming economy?

The desire to keep Americans safe from uninvited illegal aliens?

Taking better care of our veterans?

Is it our President's efforts to try and make better trade deals with the countries that have been ripping us off for so long?

Maybe it's our President finally getting NK to talk about denuclearization? Something that none of our previous Presidents were able - or willing - to do?

    Is that it?

I really hope you're not pinning your disdain for this President on 'Russian collusion.'

What stinks is the left putting their hatred for Donald J Trump ahead of their sworn duty to keep Americans safe and profitable.

I can smell it from here.

When someone fails the smell test before they are even elected into office, there's a good chance the position they old will deeply fail the smell test. Then it gets worse.

It will start to smell better after Mueller delivers his report and trump and his family are summarily dismissed-

"This needs to change or we should get some new noses in Washington."

In Utah, 4 of those noses don't work. The problem here is that, for everyone in office, there's 3 clones waiting in the wings. It's time Utahn's vote for the candidate and not the party.
