I applaud Joseph Grenny and hope our legislature will work to find a Soloman wisdom to balance the needs of those work for redemption with those who need protection. Not an easy task but a worthy one.

Having donated to TOSA, I believe in their methods and goals. It is a program that incorporates the work ethic and personal responsibility in a rehabilitation program. The balance between full disclosure and denying information about past criminal behavior is difficult. There are certain crimes that one would want to know about before hiring someone. e.g. an embezzler as your accountant or a child molester as your nanny. Hopefully this proposal will bring about a change that will enable people to re-enter productive society.
