I think this is a fantastic article. The two books on the topic of Eugenics is
timely and important. Putting the topic into fictional mysteries is great.
Helping youth develop and polish writing skills is certainly commendable too.
I spotted grammar errors. I believe authors should work toward
correct grammar as examples for readers and other authors. Here is one quote
with errors: "I think one of the big things... that helped me catch the
vision of 'Oh, I can actually do this,' is when me and my writing
group started Teen Author Boot camp..." There should be an I after
"when" because it is part of the subject.Earlier in the
article is the quote, "I started mixing in the industry with people who were
actually doing it and I saw that they weren't so much better than me, or so
different than me" Shaffer said, "I" should be used after the
conjunctions in the sentence.However, as I started earlier, I am
much impressed by the author's objectives, and the article about her is
