The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:

    The Good:

East is a good team with good coaching and a good team philosophy of developing five good players to compete as a single unit with heart, passion, energy, poise, unity & continuity. Congrats to East on a good win.

    The Bad:

Provo had a bad showing by getting badly beat by 30 while using a bad overall philosophy which has been directed at highlighting one single player while refusing to develop a viable supporting cast. Perhaps when playing a bad 2-19 Timpanogos team one would use a 30 point lead in the fourth quarter to develop other players as opposed to pursuing individual accolades. One player scoring 54 points while the rest of the team collectively combines for 16 is just bad strategy at any level. Perhaps even a direct result of why Lavender Briggs has never advanced past the second round in state play offs.

    The Ugly:

An elite division 1 athlete being held to just 4 field goals in over 30 minutes of play. With as many turnovers as field goals it was an ugly performance by Briggs who was essentially over powered by a five foot four inch guard from East who used heart, pride & hustle to eliminate Provo's only real threat.
