xert. What in the world are you talking about Karl and John making scads of money. Exum has a thirty million dollar contract not counting what he made the first few years. That is quite a scad. By the way do you know many games John and Karl missed their entire careers. You should google it and find out.

Let's not question his heart and desire to play. Dante looks like a kid who loves to compete. I've heard the stories about the Mailman and Stockton playing when injured and I believe them. The thing is though---most of the stories about Malone and Stockton staring down players who were coddling injuries pre-game and saying, "I'm playing and so are you--get dressed," seem to have come long after those two were well established in the league and had made scads of money (not that they weren't tough before). Players like Dante are guys who are still trying to carve out what MIGHT become a long career and they have been told what they can and can't do since they were in HS--(including when they can play and when they have to sit) by parents, coaches, agents and even their current medical staff. Karl Malone was in a position to tape up and go out and play, anytime he felt like it. Dante? I don't think he's there yet.

He really has missed 17 games or over a month in time for an ankle sprain? Gees, Karl would sprain his ankle so bad he could hardly walk and go get it retaped and come back and play the same night. Same with John and almost all of the Jazz players on that team.
