@AZUte- Ute fans are always bragging about beating BYU in football. Out of 64
“Power-5” teams in the country, exactly ONE considers it an
accomplishment to beat a mid-major. You’re supposed to beat BYU, every
year, by a lot. You have major recruiting and financial advantages. How long
since you’ve beat a “Power 5” team that would even be
considered mid-tier, like UW or WSU? You couldn’t even make it
competitive against the 4th/5th best team in the Big 10. Your claim to fame is
taking 8 years to win the worst “Power 5” division in the history of
college football. How many “Power 5” divisions didn’t even
win a single bowl game? How many “Power 5” divisions had an overall
losing record? How many “Power 5” divisions had a team lose to
Oregon State? Keep bragging about beating BYU, because nobody outside your fan
base has any respect for you or your “Power 5” status.

I give credit to BYU coaches for figuring out a way to use their athletic
players .... ie Baxter at the top of the key. Other teams will adjust and then
Rose will have to adjust to that ...... good win but still not confident in
this staff and it’s ability to when big games. We shall see!
The Cougar Men’s Basketball team is finding every week someone who has the
“right stuff” to pull the team into victory. Whether its Yoeli, TJ,
Nick, Jashire, or Gavin they all shine at different times pulling their
teammates on to play better. The sum is truly greater than the parts. Coach Rose
has been the catalyst to inspire the synergy that we’re seeing on this
team. Anything is possible when they face the Zags again. They have beat them
before on their home court. Why not do a repeat? Go Cougs!!!

Hey I wonder if AZUTE is aware that a former SDSU (and lowly MWC) player ripped
Utes for 24 points in ASU's 11 point victory over the mighty Utes!!Don't know where Utes will end up, but fairly certain it won't
be in 2nd place in the massively weak PAC-10 this year.
Re: BlueCoug"LMU destroyed UCLA 82-58"Or did
they? Might want to get your facts straight BlueCoug.
I'll take the win but am still scratching my head as to why they w as it
until the last 5 minutes to start playing.Too many mental breakdowns to go
very far in any tournament. Play with intensity and smarts then the Cougs could
go far.Playing in the WCC is still better than playing in a

@AZUteWhat is your deal? You're on every single article

Azute was out there ragging on BYU all by himself while so many Ute, Aggie and
BYU fans gave BYU credit for coming from behind to win. BYU actually had a
great week in sports. Their women's gymnastics team had one of their best
performances of the season in a loss to Boise State. Their women's
basketball team beat a ranked Gonzaga team on their floor. The men's
volleyball team won two matches against two very tough teams. Their baseball
team won. And then the men's basketball team won two road games in
difficult fashion by actually playing tough defense. One comment here
said he still isn't sold on Emery, and I would have to agree. I would like
to see Harding get more playing time to help him continue to develop, but Emery
a toughness on defense.
Nice win and great finish. I had doubts with all the turnovers. Keep it up, go
AZUTE1Give BYU credit for a nice win. That's the classy thing
to do. Agreed that BYU is not a great basketball team this year, but they are 15
points better than either Utah or USU.
Great week for BYU putting together 6 great victories encompassing two come from
behind road wins for men's basketball, two very close road wins for
women's basketball, including knocking off one of the best teams in college
hoops and two wins for men's volleyball, one over USC!
So another road sweep, including a tough place to win at SD, beat St.
Mary's, 2nd place, playing defense, and is on pace to have a first round
bye? What's happened to this team?! Way to go men!
Good day for cougs --- Men basketball won -- Girls BB beat # 13 Gonzaga for 2nd
time -- mens volleyball beat USC - Mens Baseball won series with Northwestern --
Womens Softball won - Good Day For Cougs.
Excuse mw, a really bad ASU team. They did squeak out a win against an even
worse Arizona team.
@azute, they may, but it's better shuffling out of your home arena with
your pockets emptied after losing to a really crummy AZ team.
Tough night for AZUTE - getting pwned in these comments and then having to watch
the Utes suffer the same fate to ASU. Ouch.

LMU vs UCLA score!NCAA dreamin.
Azute1is just jealous that the Utes have reached their highwater mark with that
miracle 3 at UCLA last week to climb into 2nd in the conference. After beating an Arizona team that is fading fast, the Utes have begun their
own free fall.
Aggjegrad,Well you were close. Ute men just got destroyed by the sun
devils in slc and it will get worse as they visit the Washington schools.
Azute is just bitter because he's trying to figure out a way of asking mom
and dad for more allowance to pay for the increase in Ute football games.
Rose coaches another win! Good job Coach. Adjusting to zone defense with Baxter
up front was brilliant for a transition game, and it played well with defensive
strength. I'm still not keen on Nick. Poor numbers overall, but
he seems to add grittiness to the D?
Congrats to the team. They overcame a terrible shooting and higher turnover
night at least from several of their stars. Baxter 6 of 6. Pretty darn good.
And guess I was too hard on Seljaas the other night. He really made a
difference. But credit to the defense again!
Nice to see BYU improve so much with the turnover they had. Baxter is going to
be a beast. And they've learned the defense can keep you in a game when
your shots aren't falling.
Great job Cougars. It makes a difference when Baxter goes off like that slam in
the second half. Gritty team play is all you can ask for from these guys.
Let’s take it to San Francisco now.
THEREALND - Mishawaka, INFeb. 16, 2019 6:26 p.m.“Wow! BYU just
beat #135! NCAA Dreamin!”LMU destroyed UCLA 82-58, the same

The game changed when Gavin Baxter was at the top in the zone defense. Two
consecutive turnovers were caused and LMU never recovered after that. And the
defense the past few games did a great job down the stretch.
AZUTE1: Utah men’s basketball team only wishes they had as good a season
as the Cougars. I enjoy watching the Cougs clobber the Utes in basketball.
Probably a harbinger of the football team this next season when Zac Wilson
starts lighting up the scoreboard for BYU. I admit though Utah’s
“Red Rock” women’s gymnastic team is very impressive.

Congratulations Cougs on 🧹 sweeping the Southern California schools -
SD, LMU and Pepperdine - on the road for the first time!💙
Wow! BYU just beat #135! NCAA Dreamin!
Tough game. The WCC has six teams capable of winning the PAC12 if
they were in that conference and the Cougs played like champions.
Congratulations, Cougars!!AZUte--- Thanks for your cheering for an
LMU beat-down. Your credibility/bias is showing. (And it isn't that good,
just between us.) Good luck against ASU; you'll need it.
Will they be throwing yet another airport celebration/downtown parade, where
strangers will be hugging each other?LOLGo Utes!
Impressive week for both BYU mens and womens teams. The Utes, Aggies, Cougar men
and Cougar women all finishing the regular season on high notes.
Very impressive grit and determination. In the closing minutes BYU showed they
are capable of clutch shooting and suffocating defense.Way to finish,
