It was TJ' s best game of the season. At times past untimely turn overs distracted from his over great effort and skill. Last night he definitely brought his A game. His ball handling skills, shooting ability, and contributions on defense were praise worthy. But what has impressed me most during his career is his on court demeanor, confidence and natural leadership.

Good luck to the Cougars today!

I don't remember Marty Haws very well except to say that he seemed like a fairly consistent shooter on some very so so teams. I do remember that the teams he performed for were toward the time that BYU was losing interest in Roger Reid and around the time of the Chris Burgess guilt trip thing. Mark Durrant was, I believe---the brother of Devin Durrant, who was on some wonderful BYU teams. Devin could really score, but fizzled out in the NBA, while his teammate (Fred Roberts) didn't seem like as valuable of a player as ol' Deverino in college, but was a Larry Krystowiak--ian (though not as good) type of big body who had a fairly long NBA career. This young man TJ seems like a player who might make money in the pros--though probably not the NBA. But what do I know? If you would have asked me a few years ago, I would have guaranteed you that Jimmer would be performing alongside another Durrant--(Kevin) this weekend at a notable little contest which I like to call the NBA All-Star Game, yet due to the lack of chances he has been given combined with his lack of sticking power when having been given said chances, this shall not be so.
    Good luck TJ!

Haws is a special player, sometimes. Good thing BYU played the utes early in the year or the 15 point blowout back then would have been 30 if the game was played today. Ute fans need to count their lucky stars.
