Experience matters and facilitates competence. David’s resume is insufficient. Stan Penfold was executive director of United Way where he served a great deal of minority families; due to current disparities. Stan was selected to Chair Salt Lake City Council. He served the homeless for two terms on Salt Lake City Council and in his current position as Executive Director of the Utah AIDS foundation. He is currently appointed by Governor Herbert to serve on UtahUserve; an organization that trains volunteers. It is evident that Stan Penfold is capable of working with people who see thing differently them him and he can assist with the full symphony of Salt Lake City’s needs; not just a few notes, when compared to David.

I think Jackie has done a great job as mayor. She has brought SLC onto the world stage as a first class city that can provide a great base for new start up's as well as well seasoned corporations. Our education system is second to none and our city services can compete with nay first class MSA's in the country.

Goodness, I think the current mayor is ridiculously far left and then along comes Mr. Garbett. Poor Salt Lake City. Our society cannot be powered with intermittent solar and wind power. It simply cannot. Mr. Garbett's claim of doing so in 4 years is not realistic. I'm quite sure he can create sky-rocketing power bills in his attempt though.
