LOL at azute1 desperately trying to pretend that joining the PAC 12 has suddenly made Utah a big time baseball program.

As previously stated, BYU owns U in baseball.

Riding the coattails of your conference mates doesn’t make U anything special.

As long as BYU continues to recruit small players with no power they will never be able to compete in the NCAA upper half.

Law and now Littlewood seem to like the small speedy players and don't go after any power hitters.

If you look at the history of BYU baseball, when the had more power in the lineup the dominated their conferences. That includes the WAC, Mountain West and the WCC.

It seems like all the Power Hitters in this state go elsewhere. One prep graduate I know who would have loved to have played at BYU but for some reason was not recruited by BYU or Utah went to another D1 school and led the nation in RBI's and was 4th in Homeruns. Hod do these players, and there are many, get away?

I predict another mediocre year for the Cougars and I don't see any reason for it.

As a public service I will take the time to inform you that nobody cares what you think. Cheer for your team...or don't...but don.t hate. It's not pretty.

“How often does the wcc advance more than their tourney auto-bid into the postseason? How often reaching beyond the regional?”

Neither BYU or Utah have ever played for the Baseball National Championship, so who cares how many teams any conference sends to the tournament?

There are enough good hitters around the league, that I believe it takes some overpowering guys on the bump to get into the Regional's.

Cougars should be pretty solid throughout their lineup, but it's going to take some great pitching to win the conference. BYU could be a fun team to watch this season.
