Spokane Ute - Spokane, WAFeb. 13, 2019 11:17 a.m."Nope,
make America a Socialist country for the first time....."America
has been a social democracy ever since the 13th Amendment was passed into law
fulfilling more of the hope generated in the U.S. Constitution and Declaration
of Independence. However, it wasn't until the 19th Amendment giving women
the right to vote and participate in our democracy that we moved a step closer
to that dream. Ever since, we have made modest improvements toward that ideal
initially layed out in 1789.We have people today who want to
restrain our country with their devotion to a man who idealizes three communist
dictators and is accused of collaborating with one as an agent of that
nation's push to dominate the world. Xi Jinping of China and Kim Jong Un of
North Korea may be leaders Donald Trump would want to emulate, it is a former
KGB chief and man wanting to re-establish the Soviet empire that Trump is
beholden to.Talk all you want about "socialism" as a
fear-inducing bug-a-boo by the wingnut fringe, but nothing compares with
Trump's worship of and service to Vladimir Putin and his fascination with
authoritarians and dictators.

and new Dems in Congress. Maybe now we will have a chance to Make
America SANE Again . . . .---------Nope, make America a Socialist

@countryvoice: "What about the new Iran deal that has Iran stopped dead in
their tracks? What about the new NATO deal where all the other members have
forked over past due money? What about a new climate deal where the rest of the
world is finally doing their part? Yea and of course what about the deal where
North Korea has handed over their nuclear weapons? A new NAFTA and deal with
China where the US finally has dominance again?"Per Google,
nearly all of the substance of the paragraph above is categorically false. The parts of that paragraph that are true? Iran, China and North
Korea are real countries and NATO is a real strategic alliance.
Impartial7.."Trump can't negotiate"What? What about
the new Iran deal that has Iran stopped dead in their tracks? What about the
new NATO deal where all the other members have forked over past due money? What
about a new climate deal where the rest of the world is finally doing their
part? Yea and of course what about the deal where North Korea has handed over
their nuclear weapons? A new NAFTA and deal with China where the US finally has
dominance again? See he's accomplished more in two years than
any other President ever....or not.
Thank you, Nancy and new Dems in Congress. Maybe now we will have a

The Republican leaders have no idea what Trump will do.The White
House says they were in daily communication with the Republicans on the
negotiation team. The Republicans on that team say they got Trump's
approval on all the points of the negotiation. But, when it comes down to it,
nobody knows what Trump will do. There is no rhyme or reason...no logic...to
what he does. He does what he thinks is in his own best interest at any given
moment. Will he do what Sean and Ann tell him to do? I
don't think he is willing to shut down the government again, but I think
there is a good chance he will sign the bill but also declare a national
"emergency" and take funds appropriated for defense for his wall. If the Republicans - who called Obama a "King" and a
"Monarch" for signing Executive Orders - don't stand up to Trump if
he does claim there is an "emergency" on the southern border, they will
not only be hypocrites, but they will be responsible for all the national
"emergencies" that other Presidents declare in the years to come.Votes have consequences. I think the day will come when Trump voters are
ashamed to admit what they did to our country.
Mexico isn't paying for it. Neither is congress. He's trying now to
tell us a bunch of it has been built anyway. Not on his watch.
Does a bill have to "thrill" trump for him to sign it? Are we moving
into thrill or kill reality TV legislation? If so, do we get to say
"you're fired' if we don't like what he does ?
He may not be happy but he'll continue to keep about 40% of Americans
believing in the unbelievable.
Trump: "I can't say I'm happy. I can't say I'm
thrilled" Americans do not care about your feelings. If you want to be thrilled or happy, next time hire a competent negotiator.
Trump can't negotiate. Never has. Ask his previous business partners and
employees. Trump overpaid for just about every one of his NYC properties (and
then defaulted on many loans). He bullies, threatens and stomps off. That might
work in real estate, with other properties to go to, but there's on 1 US
Congress that he must deal with. A 10 year old with a lemonade stand can
negotiate better than Trump.
