    @Thid: You seem to have forgotten that warming causes cooling. Oh, also, warm days are evidence of climate change. Cold days are just weather. Try to keep up.

    My wife and I are in the process of buying a home on Molokai. We purchased a condo there two years ago. The condo is nice, but not large enough for two people with the thousands of books and many items that we use in our daily lives.

    A primary attraction of moving to Hawaii for us was (and remains) the weather.

    I was eleven years old in 1959. My family was living on Oahu when Hawaii became our 50th state.

    I love kidding people by telling them that had Brigham Young continued his journey west to Hawaii after spending a few years in Utah, Brother Brigham would have arrived on Molokai and said, "Now, this is the place!"
