Many things nominated for Grammys are just not harmonious and pleasant to the ear. People have the right to listen to what they want but maybe a lot of people are disgusted and tired of seeing music held in high esteem that is dark and negative. Tired of things that encourage hate, violence and total disrespect in unhealthy ways toward police, parents, women and mankind in general. If you hear negative hateful things long enough it does seep in your brain and subconscious. Music to me is beauty and melody. That is not to say that music cannot be sad or angry.
The Grammys just seem very manipulated and phony.

It can be a good show depending on who performs and how big their egos are.

No one cares really if Queen Bee is not there. Or, Kanye.

Some of it can't really be called music. I don't watch either.

Well, maybe drama will help keep the Grammys alive. While I love listening to music and do have an old bet with a coworker about Kanye's IQ that has yet to be resolved, I don't have much interest in the personalities or awards behind the music. Never watched these "famous" award shows and never will.

The personalities and choices made when developing a hit game would be more interesting. Especially considering the video gaming industry is larger than the film and music industries combined.

Can’t remember the last time I watched the Grammys. Based on the fact that I don’t recognize most of the names let alone the music they’re known for is a good indication I’ll probably miss this year’s awards show as well.
