How would you know if it were a boring game if you don't watch anymore?

    Congratulations, Eric!

    And so did the Waterboy....
    Rowe was on injured reserve.

But hey, try to find Ute glory wherever you can.

"Reminds me of KVN's signature game against San Diego State."

KVN's heroics and beating SDSU in a bowl were the only positives in that rain-soaked game.

It was easy to see why the Poinsettia Bowl folded after that game. The stadium was literally falling apart and San Diego didn't want to spend anymore money fixing it up.

The only reason they kept the Holiday Bowl alive until a new stadium could be built is so they wouldn't lose it as well.

San Diego is a great bowl location, but I suspect that the Las Vegas Bowl will quickly surpass it in the bowl pecking order as soon as the Raiders new stadium is built.

"Better than your understanding of sarcasm."

You also seem to be struggling with the definition of "sarcasm",

since you were dead serious about claiming that KVN was 2-4 in Super Bowls,

just like you always are with your crimson-colored view of the world.

I don't think I'll ever see a single defensive player take control of both sides of the game again like that bowl performance.

If I recall correctly KVN was responsible for 14 points and both offenses combined brought in 12 points.

As for whether or not he likes BYU and his time at BYU, after such a dominating performance he didn't declare for the draft, he returned to BYU one more year, this as well as his recent messages about BYU and his friendship with former BYU players is pretty obvious, the guy loves BYU football and BYU fans love KVN!

I think Uteology was saying he lost four times to the U. See he was trying to thrown in the fact BYU has not had success in those "Super Bowls". Hence 2-4.

It was an attempt to be cleaver and down play what KVN did while pumping up the Utes and back slapping BYU. Because to just say Congrats would not be enough for the Ute in question. There is the need to dump on BYU and self aggrandize at the same time.

It shows a small degree of intelligence in it cleaver approach - but I am guessing a lack of class at the same exact moment. Go figure.

Cry me a river. I also didn't congratulate ex-Ute Eric Row who also plays, not so much this year, for the Patriots.

I’m a longtime BYU fan but lost a little respect for Van Noy after his comments last week about BYU on the radio. He seems to feel his life is going well enough he maybe doesn’t need the fans he had as a college player.

If there’s any doubt about Kyle’s love and respect for BYU, all any reasonable person would need to do to confirm that is to simply listen to Kyle’s pre-Super Bowl interview on BYUSN on 2/1/2019.

He even jokes about his use of “Brigham University”.

Of course, if you’re only interested in smearing BYU, rather than learning actual facts, then nothing will change your BYU-hating mind.

I have posted dozen of times that KVN was a great college player and could be an impact player in the NFL. He was very good yesterday. Too bad the Rams weren’t up to the challenge. Would have been better to have the Saints and be able to watch Marcus Williams and that other guy that played at BYU - name escapes me, Jimmer something or maybe it is Hall? Oh well.

Seriouslt KVN was an impact maker and is a perfect fit for the Pats defense.

KVN doesn't "just do what he wants" on the majority of the plays. He drops into pass coverage much more often than he rushes. He is excellent in pass coverage as well as rushing and side to side pursuit. I am also a Detroit fan and was very unhappy with how they used KVN. They had specific assignments for each play with much less freedom to freelance or to rush.

KVN was absolutely fantastic again yesterday!!!!! He is just great, bar none! The finest defensive performance in the history of all football was when VanNoy beat SDSU all by himself while in college. I'm also grateful that KVN is an individual. He never states who he played college football for. It embarrasses him immensely as of today.

Our hometown Detroit Lions are clueless. They drafted Van Noy and had him for 2 years and couldn’t figure out how he fit in their defense.

They should have just done like the Patriots—put him on the field, and let him free-lance (do whatever Van Noy wanted to do). Obviously the problem in Detroit was not Van Noy.

Way to go for KVN. Only reason I watched was to see how he did and to route against the NFC pretenders! As a Bears fan I think the outcome could have been different had the Saints been in their rightful place. Besides Taysom probably would have started at Linebacker and picked off Brady with a 80 yard td interception just to keep the Saints fans talking about their multi threat qb. Hats off to New England. Belichek Halas Lombardi need I say more.
