    @emb. You are so right! It is sad that Farnsworth's statue is/was removed from the U.S. Capitol. His inventions weren't limited just to television.

    But he wasn't next to Brigham Young. Young is in Statuary Hall and Farnsworth was around the corner and down the hall.

    First, Al Gore never said that he invented the internet, nor did he ever imply that. Second, I doubt that you've ever taken anything Al Gore said at face value. Third, it's not Mr. Gore who is the liar.

    I am surprised since I believed Al Gore when he told us he invented the internet! Did he lie to us?

    Nothing more impressive to technology than Utah's Philo Farnsworth inventing television. Sadly his statue is being removed from our nation's capitol where it sat next to Brigham Young.
