    Trump, Mexico and his own party remained apart for two years. Paul Ryan had a technical majority and dropped the wall ball. Now blame the Democrats?

    Was George Washington an extremist?

    Many people didn't want a war with the military might of England. Content with English rule.

    A leader with great self esteem will take the bull by its horn and make things great again.

    Thank you Mr Trump.

    @thid

    Where exactly is this wall going to be placed? How is it going to be constructed? How is damage, underground tunneling, and climbing over going to be prevented?

    How many illegals, drugs and so forth are crossing where the intended wall is suppose to go?

    If those questions can’t be answered specifically we are not talking about policy but campaign promises.

    Nancy would have more credibility if she would tear down the wall around her house! You know, that "immoral wall" that "doesn't work"?

    Re: Lost in DC

    "so nancy lied when she said she would negotiate when the govt reopened?"

    Your above statement is ludicrous in light of your hero tweeting on an hourly basis, "if there is no wall they are wasting their time" or " no wall no deal"!

    @spokane Ute

    Where does spending originate? Congress is under no obligation to fund what trump or any president wants.

    Speaking of lies who said Mexico was going to pay for the wall?

    Lost in DC nailed it. Nance said she would negotiate if he opened up the Government. Trump filled his end of the deal and now Nance is not. She lied, pure and simple, but the media will spin it and make it Trumps fault. It lies squarely on those two Lying Nut Jobs; Nance and Chuckie.

    so nancy lied when she said she would negotiate when the govt reopened?

    sorry, this is nancy's nonsense. You can throw chuckie in the blame-bin, too, but he really is nancy's puppet, so essentially this is her mess.

    Rather than trump shutdown 2.0 I expect he'll go straight to trump national emergency. He got creamed on the shutdown bigly and a national emergency is his better option. Mostly because there is no emergency, of course it will end up in court straight off. Once it's there, he can angle himself, or try to, as the victim, his favourite position. Plus, it's less political costly because all the optics of workers not getting paid are not there.
    Let's see how it unfolds.

    They are both extremists that are bad for the country. Their overinflated egos, power grabs, and personal power war with each other are getting in the way of the well bring of our country.
