I'm a huge Lacrosse fan, but I think that you'd had to have actually "played" that sport to fully embrace it. I say this because while I can be easily entertained while watching Lacrosse or Hockey, I'd be bored out of my mind if I had to sit through another soccer game. Yet there are literally DOZENS of soccer fans throughout the United States.

"I have tried to watch lacrosse but it is just plain boring."

    Mr. Boreus:
But not as much as men's volleyball. Yawn!

I wish the PAC-12 would get on board with Men’s Lacrosse. Getting to play Arizona, Arizona State, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and then snagging Air Force and Denver from their conferences would be really cool. But to be honest, I didn’t even realize until last year we even had lacrosse, but I’m excited to see lacrosse move up to NCAA.

It won’t count because BYU only sponsors a club men’s lacrosse team.

As a former club Lacrosse player at the U, I can't wait to watch our inaugural game on TV tomorrow evening. We've come a long way since my playing days, but there's still a long ways to go. Right now, we only have 1-yrs worth of D-1 recruiting, so we're not expected to be fully competitive until maybe 2022, but if anyone can get us prepared before then, it'd be Holman. Just look at the giant leap forward we'd taken from the season BEFORE he'd arrived, to his inaugural season as head coach. And then he went ahead and took another giant leap forward in his 2nd season. I'm going to try to drive up to catch at least ONE of our games this season in person, so I'm thinking either UMass, Hartford, or Virginia.

    GO UTES!!!
