And who is going to pay for mental health for the street people?

Why should I be forced to give away my hard-earned money to support those who show no interest in taking care of themselves?

The homeless show themselves to be too lazy to work, despite our thriving economy and full employment. They expect free shelter, free food, and free health care. And now they want therapists?

Which country's single payer system would you advocate patterning in the US?

A single paper system would be much worse than the system we have now with all its faults. I am however in favor of more mental care for the homeless as I have heard the majority have mental issues.

Socialized medicine means government medicine. Workers lose incentive, doctors lose incentive, bureaucrats decide on your treatment. We do need to improve our present system.

the worst thing about socialized medicine is innovation in medicine falls off dramatically.

Wow! I guess our most recent politically correct nomenclature for people living in the streets has been determined to be too demeaning, huh?

They went from being bums to vagrants to homeless.......now they're "clients!"

Its not just the homeless who need access to mental health care.

Its beyond time to move to a single payer system. It would be great for everyone including the people who fight currently against it.
