Come on people. Its the pac. Nothing to brag about. Not even close to being a powerhouse conference. The pac is 10-6 against the WCC.
The pac has no top 25 teams again this year.

Who cares? The article is about Utah rising near the number two spot in the Pac 12. We'll never know how BYU-P would do in the Pac-12- ever. And that is what all of the jealousy and negative remarks about the Pac-12 are about.

When was the last time Utah reached the Final Four?

My question, of course, was when was the last time the kittens reached the NCAA Final Four in mens BASKETBALL. The answer is the kittens have NEVER reached a Final Four in basketball. In fact the kittens hold the NATIONAL record for the most Appearances in the NCAA basketball tournament without EVER reaching a Final Four.

Yes just like BYU 90 #183 Pacific 87 was a fluke win.

BYU was lucky they played Utah early when our young guys were struggling to shoot and defend. Utah is now the better team.

It shows just how pathetic the PAC 12 is that a team that lost to ISU 92-89, dominated the 2nd place team in “conference of champions”.

We didn’t play in ‘16 & we’re 3-2 against byu over the last 5 & our current head coaches are 3-3 against each other, not counting ‘11 when our Coach K didn’t have a single recruit of his own yet.

    “KenPom ranking”

    wondering coog:

It’s Pomeroy now, eh? How about some factual statements from Sagarin:

The Pac12 conference is ranked 6th, two spots comfortably ahead of the wcc. The Pac12 had 4 teams in the Top 50 and 9 in the Top 100 (incl. Utah).
The wcc has 2 teams in the Top 50 and 5 teams in the Top 100 (incl. BYU-P).
The wcc has one team below 300, the Pac12 none.

Yep, the Pac12 isn’t top heavy like the wcc, where just one team-located in Spokane-will get an NCAA invite, one team-located in Moraga-will go to the NIT, and just a few of the rest are fighting for a CBI berth.
