Those 5 road games were not all conference games. Only two of them were WCC games. Don't blame some WCC conspiracy.

Is Rose conceding future road losses? He probably realizes that .500 the rest of the way in conference is likely. We may eke out 1 or 2 more road wins to offset some coming losses in Provo.

We can only hope this team gets and improves.

Split at best. SF is too good.

Two good home wins does not mean a sustained change in direction for a struggling team. That said, it is a positive step forward and I hope it continues. Good defense is key as well as consistent 3 point shooting. I trust our beleaguered Coach Rose is pushing the guys hard on those two areas in practice? It appears that it was a smart move by the coach to keep David Nixon on the bench. Unfortunately, he has struggled big time this year and has been a deficit for the team when he's in the game. I think that decision shows Coach Rose is starting to realize that he must play the best guys in order to win. Those kinds of decisions might yet turn this team's season into one of respectability and in the process save his job.

San Francisco is very good this season and gave Gonzaga all the Zags could handle, so beating the Dons will be a tall order.

BYU should be able to beat Pepperdine if they kick up their defensive intensity and protect the ball.

A split on the road is about all that BYU fans should expect this week.

There's something basically crappy about a league scheduling job that puts any team out away from their home gym for 29 days...smacks of attempted fix...I'd like to see how the rest of the WCC schedules shake out...
