Yes, good week for BYU Sports! The bb team got just what the Dr ordered. A home game against the worst team in the WCC and another home game against Santa Clara who had to play without their best player. Now, let’s see if this next week will prove that things are looking up for Rose and Co. I am not going to get to excited until we have made it through the first half of conference play. It will be a huge victory for Rose and Co if they are in the top 3 at the half way mark of league play.

Anyone else notice the very strange commercials put on BYUtv featuring the voice of the cougars, Greg ....... talking about supporting the men’s bb team through tough times ...... reminding everyone about when the team was 1-25 many years ago? Very strange ...... first sign that BYU knows their athletic dept and Rose is on the hot seat. Let’s just see if things turn around before crowing over these last 2 wins against pretty poor teams.

Kudos to Worthington who made the most of his opportunities and kudos to Coach Rose for having the good judgment to keep certain unproductive players on the bench. I'm sure many of the coach's decisions who to play are difficult, but he must continue to make sound decisions if he is to keep his seat cooled down for a while. Let's hope it continues!
