All of these children and families should be returned to their countries as soon as possible. The border fiasco with both parties and countries needs to end. The sooner we have reasonable immigration reform laws the better. Everyone needs to come through the front door in an organized fashion. Everyone in the U.S. that didn't come through the front door needs to be returned to their countries of origin other than the DACA kids that have not been been in any legal trouble. That is the only way to get any control of the borders back abd respect for our laws. A good share of people here illegally are people that overstayed their Visas. Trump needs to quit worrying about a wall and do something about this first. We have let too much entitlement go on with our own people and those that are here undocumented.

Forget the wall - what we need are processing centers. We need to fly a bunch of judges and lawyers down to the border so that these families can receive due process quickly. Within hours or days of arrival.

(That is how my ancestors were treated - they had no VISA, no authorization, but they were processed at the port of entry and allowed in legally. Heck, they even got a huge hand-out from the U.S. government of 160 acres of land!)

We spend so much money "housing" these poor people - why can't we use that money to hear their asylum claims and either return them back to their country of origin or let them legally enter the U.S.?

Really...I don't understand what the hold up is. Somebody with more experience in the matter please help me understand. Can any judge become an immigration judge when called upon? Can we set up court rooms and provide legal assistance more quickly, or is our only option to keep them locked up, let them enter, or deny them due process my demanding they stay in Mexico?

If they could do it back then...with nothing more than pencil and paper...then surely with our technology and vast resources we should be able to figure out a way.

So sad. These families in Guatemala need more warnings about not bringing all these young children on that dangerous trek to the U.S. We can't take in everyone that wants in the country. Shame on these people organizing these treks and overwhelming our borders. They too bear responsibility for these children's deaths just so they can send a political message. The ones that have U.S. citizenship that are creating a constant crisis at the border should have it revoked permanently.
