Had there been a secure border wall it is unlikely this little girl would have died. That there are holes in the border and the possibility to get through that promulgates sad stories like this (and the numerous that die in the back of closed trucks in the heat of summer.)

It is a fact that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer all wanted secure borders as recently as ten years ago. They and 23 other Democratic senators voted in favor of the Secure Fence Act of 2006 when it passed in the Senate by a vote of 80 to 1

Why the flip-flop? Easy question: Trump.

The argument that the cost is unreasonable is indefensible. The US spends more than the cost of Trumps' border wall request each and every year for illegals that get through.

Wonderful to see the quote from the official at the Annunciation House, showing the faith in God that the father has. Many of these migrants are showing a faith in God, and there are reports being found in news stories reflecting this.
From this article, Ruben Garcia, director of the Annunciation House shelter, as he speaks of the father,
"All of us were moved by the depth of his faith and his trust that God's hand is in all of this."
