Anyone know the odds on how long Mulvaney will last?

at long last: "Mulvaney is a very competent individual. My guess is that may have played a part in his becoming chief of staff. Loyalty and getting along are not bad traits either..."

When you say "loyalty" are you referring to the video that everyone has watched, where Mulvaney literally calls Trump a "terrible human being"? He was completely right about that but now he's willing to be chief of staff for this terrible human. That seems odd.

Headline: "Loyalty, rapport: Why Trump chose Mulvaney as chief of staff"

    I believe this should read:

"Loyalty, rapport, no other takers: Why Trump chose Mulvaney as chief of staff"

It is widely reported that Mulvaney has campaigned long and hard to get this position. So even on a "temporary" or trial run basis, this ought to come as no surprise.

I do wonder what deal he had to make with his own conscience and self respect to want this job. Presuming his appointment to Chief of Staff meant big compromises (not the good ones mind you) , such people ought not be in places of authority.

The left will vilify Mulvaney, just like they do Zinke or anyone in the Trump administration! Why?
Because the trump administration is full of villains. Indeed, it's not 'the left' who vilify them so much as themselves.

As for Mulvaney, after multiple rejections trump seems to have found the yes man he's seeking.

Mulvaney is a very competent individual. My guess is that may have played a part in his becoming chief of staff. Loyalty and getting along are not bad traits either (except to the MSM in relation to Trump)

"Someone who will let trump be trump."

    Just what America needs . . . . .

The left will vilify Mulvaney, just like they do Zinke or anyone in the Trump administration! Why? Because Democrats seek to control other people's lives, and when people who do not want Democrats to control them object, Democrats will vilify them! We see it everyday! I am quite certain I can govern my own life better than the Democrats can govern my life! But, they don't think so, hence they must vilify!
