The real challenge seems to be that you can’t escape anxious situations
anymore because even if you remove yourself from news and social media, most
people around you still have access and that causes its own set of
problems/anxiety. This isn’t going away. We have to find ways to fill our
cups, produce healthy self esteem and show love consistently.
I find the the constant access to our street, neighborhood, city, state, nation
and world news/events really feeds anxiety. Anytime I stop checking news or
social media my mind/brain/emotions calm down. There’s a reason President
Nelson has asked for multiple fasts of social media this year.
