@worf - Dec. 12, 2018 12:50 p.m.If you can't get to Trump!Than go after someone who knew him.Democrats are not problem
solvers. They create it!-----Actually the Democrats are not
the creators of the problem now affecting the United States. They are trying
very hard to be the problem solvers and protect the United States against the
harm being visited it by Individual 1 in the District Court pleadings (in other
words, trump). Justice and truth are finally catching up with trump. I'm
glad that is finally happening -- it is about time.
Cohen suggests he failed to "listen to my own inner voice and my moral
compass," and "was weak for not having the strength to question and to
refuse his demands." My mind spins back to an article in the Church
News, of Elder D. Todd Christofferson's experience in Watergate. "How
the Watergate Scandal Taught Elder Christofferson to Always Follow His
Conscience," says the title of the article. "Nixon was, in Elder
Christofferson’s assessment, a “basically decent [man],” says
the article. "But his decisions to whitewash the crime occurred when the
president opted not to assert his conscience."
"Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to tax evasion, lying to Congress, and making
false statements on a banking application."Kinda like Al Capon.
A lot of this sounds like the same kind of mob behavior. Of course he spent
some quality time on Alcatraz.
@LOU Montana: "Bob Mueller is playing cat and mouse with Donald J
Trump."Great metaphor. When cats actually hunt
mice, there is the patient stalking phase, followed by the phase where the cat
has caught the mouse but has not yet killed and eaten it. The cat literally
plays with the captive mouse, which instinctively must realize it is not long of
his Earth. Sheer terror I imagine. I think Mueller-Trump is in that second
phase. The cat-mouse metaphor is not perfect of course -- the average mouse
tends to be significantly braver and more competent than Trump. Though in
fairness, mice typically are not distracted by multiple criminal inquiries.Another metaphor is Edgar Allen Poe's short story: The Tell-Tale
Heart, where a suspect becomes increasingly erratic and says/does things that
only a guilty person would say and do. If Twitter existed in mid-1800s, Poe
could have structured the entire story around a series of tweets sent by the
narrator ...... from his workplace... during the
workday... using his work account. With misspellings. Lots and lots of misspellings.
We can gloat, but Cohen will go to a prison where he will play softball and stay
within the white, painted, line. When he is released he will still be wealthy,
write a book, and go on the lecture tour. Maybe, like G. Gordon Liddy, he will
get a radio show.
Cohen first and then the NRA. Exposing the NRA will take down Don Jr.Bob Mueller is playing cat and mouse with Donald J Trump.
Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to making false statements on a banking
application. Money that he then used to commit campaign finance fraud with. Remember how the Steele dossier claimed Cohen had secret connections
with Russian agents for the purpose of collusion during the campaign, and how
now in the court filings Mueller says Cohen cooperated with the Special Council
on matters that are core to their mission. Could be pretty
But were they done dirt cheap?
Re: Worf"Democrats are not problem solvers. They create it!"
Not to worry Worf, comes mid January 2019, the Dems. are going to
change their ways and become "Problem Solvers"!Enjoy!
@RichardB: "Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to tax evasion, lying to Congress,
and making false statements on a banking application. That's it."According to Cohen's August 21, 2018 plea agreement, the "total
maximum term of imprisonment on Counts One through Eight is 65 years."Thst's it.
Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to tax evasion, lying to Congress, and making false
statements on a banking application. That's it.
I am going to buy some more American flags, one for each corner of the house.
Celebrations are coming, and they are not far off!
What's great about this story is that you can discuss it openly and freely
and read about it openly- the institution of governance in the USA & the
institution of law/courts allows you to discuss this openly without fear of jail
for doing so. It's wonderful that you have a free press, protected by
your constitutional amendments.Meanwhile another institution has
just had its highest ever ranking cardinal actually convicted of a crime and we
in Australia are not allowed to read about it due to a federal media suppression
law. Oh, to have the freedoms that the USA has when it comes to the
judiciary. I wish we had a strong constitution in Aus that gave us *freedom of
the press*. Hmm, but on the subject of Cohen, I can't help
wondering if Cohen will become another Oliver North type character who wins
favor with American citizens for his 'patriotism' and loyalty to the
POTUS though. I didn't mind Charles Colson as he seemed to honestly
repent of his crimes when behind bars re Watergate... time will tell if Cohen
has a change of heart in the slammer.
"BHO called it: The fundamental transformation of America."And about time. We are not an 18th century agrarian society whose economy was
founded on the suffering of slaves, the slaughter of indigenous people and a
narrow view of democracy's participants.Change is absolutely
essential. We know now more than Bronze Age sages, than 2000 year old Gospels,
than 18th Century planters and than 19th century Founders of Religions, The
world is vastly more complicated, and vastly more populated. We are
inter-related in ways most of us could not have imagined at the beginnings of
our lives.I know that change is difficult for those who cling to
ancient wisdoms and newer revelations. Much of that wisdom still applies.
However, a lot of it is unfounded theory and conjecture, given what new
information and circumstances we now possess. Change is not the
enemy. Ignoring the necessity to do so is.
Michael Cohen stated in court:"Recently the President tweeted a
statement calling me weak and it was correct but for a much different reason
than he was implying. It was because time and time again I felt it was my duty
to cover up his dirty deeds," Cohen said. For those keeping
score: 192 criminal charges against 36 people and entities, 7 guilty pleas, 4
people sentenced, 1 convicted in a jury trial.
G-Day-M8:Trying a second time to comment. You quoted from the
scriptures to attempt to prove your point that anyone who is against Trump is
part of a secret combination. Have you considered that secret combinations may
be found around and within Trump's orbit, as well? Why are secret
combinations only found on one side? This is an honest question.
@Red Smith"Mike Cohen was the lawyer for many people and many

lawyer. A court filing earlier this year stated that Cohen had three clients
over the previous year. The second was Elliott Broidy and the third was Sean
The road to trump leads through Cohen.
worf... hang tight, podner. They are getting the foot soldiers out of

Yes. You better not lie to the FBI; in fact don't even say anything that
might be in error. Best have a lawyer handy so you don't trip up. The FBI
agents who questioned Flynn didn't think Flynn was lying. That decision was
made higher up. Of course, if you are in the FBI, lying is not a problem. Just
ask Mr. Comey.
If you can't get to Trump!Than go after someone who knew

"The chronic Trump bashing is boring. Can we get a new person to bash,
please?"Another ironic comment. How long have we endured the
boring bashing of Hillary Clinton? Not just a couple of years, but a few
decades. Now, I am no particular fan of Mrs Clinton. But the GOP
needs a new pinata. The President has to spend some more time being the
punching bag for the majority of the country to come close to the years of
bashing Clinton endured. And besides, he invents new reasons to bash him on a
daily basis. Trump is the gift that keeps on giving to his critics.
Irony aside, it is hard to get bored with so much new material.
Remember Cohen's tweet of 12/19/2015??"@Hillary Clinton
when you go to prison for defrauding America and perjury, you room and board
will be free!"I remember....and just take a moment to savor the

Cohen, Hannity, and Trump are tight ring and called each other a lot.
@Red Smith: "Mike Cohen was the lawyer for many people and many
corporations."Sorry, he was not. In court, Michael
Cohen said he only had three clients: Trump, Sean Hannity, and Elliott Broidy,
former deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee. He worked primarily for Trump. He was Trump's
"fixer." The guy Trump hired, as Cohen said in court, "to cover up
[Trump's] dirty deeds."Cohen wanted the judge to feel sorry
for him, but he is a grown man, and he knew exactly what he was doing. He was
not forced against his will to work for Trump for all those years. At
anytime he could have said, "Mr. Trump, what you are asking me to do goes
against what I believe to be right. It is not who I am. You will have to find
somebody else."He didn't do that. He deserves the justice
that is being served him.
I dont read fiction masquerading as truth.

The end is near and the 64 thousand dollar question is will Trump pardon his ex
conspirators and will Pence pardon the President?
Red Smith -asked: "Does anyone read books today like Dan Bongino's
"Spygate" detailing the Mueller probe fraud?"-Not by
radio show and former Secret service folks who appear only on hannity or other
right wing nationalist shows. I prefer non-fiction.RS: The headline
is ridiculous. Mike Cohen was the lawyer for many people and many corporations.
Not really, although Hannity was one of his clients, birds of a
feather.RS: The chronic Trump bashing is boring. Can we get a new
person to bash, please? Not to worry if things continue as they have,
Trump will be joining Cohen for a few years, and nobody will be bashing him in
prison where he can't tweet out his nonsense to adoring fans.
🎼 Ooooo!... You better watch out!You better not Cry; You
better not Lie to the FBI... Robert Mueller has Come to Town!!!!
I just noticed Sean Hannity deleted a bunch of Twitter posts where he was
defending Michael Cohen.Uh oh . . .
Does anyone read books today like Dan Bongino's "Spygate" detailing
the Mueller probe fraud? The headline is ridiculous. Mike Cohen was

The Trump administration would like to let everyone know that no one in the
Trump administration has had any ties to the Trump administration.
It was Cohen's choice to become Trump's pit bull. He knew what he was
doing for fame and fortune, but he got caught doing what he chose to do. Trump
quit feeding his pit bull, so Cohen had to do what he has done to save
himself. Now, in order to get a reduced sentence, Cohen is
cooperating. Trump has turned to his best defense...name calling. If
all of the people that Trump has called names for being a ; loser, liar,
disloyal, dishonest, etc., and Trump claims to pick only the best people,
doesn't that make Trump the sole owner of his choice of all of these;
dishonest, liars, losers in the first place?Yet some people cling to
Trump like barnacles on a sinking ship.
trumps whole world is starting to really crumble now.Good thing..better
him than us.
Good. He needs jail time. I know that he helped Mueller. I know he gave the
government insight to Trump's crimes. However, he was a willing partner for
over a decade. He needs some time as punishment.
