“If Anderson can be convinced to go back to Utah State, maybe the Utes will get Majerus back courtside.”

The ghost of sweater man roaming the Utah sideline?

Child was dominating but even more BYU did anything they wanted on the court, it was like, “Hey, let’s see if this works.” And it did. BYU has seemed to figure out a formula for their team. Maybe the season has turned around. Utah still has a FBI investigation ongoing. This may be the end of Utah basketball for a while.

nick wasn't really much of a factor at all, in 2 games he hasn't scored much - however he chatted with Coach Kry and kept it classy and that was very positive for BYU.

What he did bring, as did the other players, was a little thing called defense! That was a huge difference maker in the games.

For the first time this season I feel optimism rather than despair. I would feel even better if we could get one more big man up front to reliable score other than Childs. I love the effort the other big men provide; they just need to be able to up their scoring and finesse under the bucket. GO COUGARS.

After solidifying their place as the best team in the state, BYU needs a strong pre-season finish to give themselves a chance at an at-large berth in the big dance.

Delicious crow I'm eating. I thought BYU would go 0-3 after being run out against Weber. Glad they turned it around against USU and Utah. They are playing with a lot more passion. Yoeli is amazing and Haws stopped Utah's run in the second half. Go Cougs!

After last week, I was afraid this season was going to be a disaster, but BYU turned things around this week and Nick was a big part of that turnaround, even though he didn’t score against Utah.

These next few games before conference play begins will be good indicator of whether BYU can be a contender for WCC runner up to Gonzaga.

Kudos to the Cougars. I've been critical of BYU basketball lately, so it's only fair to give them credit when they deserve it. Hopefully they can keep shooting the ball and keep defenses from sagging on Childs.
